"This place opened right before COVID. Good service , nice bar the food was good they made it a point to do something different to each plate to show their signature touch. I got the CPH burger I give it a 8 out of ten. could have seasoned it after taking it off the grill). Normally it would get 4 stars alway room for improvement. I give it 4.5. One thing to note which was fantastic was the house cut fries. Yeah I know fries!? This fries were cut diff seasoned well fried to perfection. If you light light crispy not too oily fries these are it. Make sure to ask for the homemade ranch dressing really put it over the top. Life is short ?F ?it up. family flavor friends"

I just went to lunch, but it was great! Would recommend. Parking on Main St. but there are also spots behind the building consciously the signs, not parking in the side, it is only for Hopkinton Drug.

Fun Spot, great food, great drinks and amazing service. The sea red sole and short rib Bolognese are delicious, like the crab cake appetizer. The beer list is excellent. In the indoor and outdoor areas you can enjoy a great team.

I had a solo dinner on a Saturday night and enjoyed a great selection of craft beers. I ordered the mahi with bean salad; the fish was both spicy and savory, while the bean salad provided a light and pleasant balance. The bar service was friendly and prompt.

Absolutely! This restaurant is something special. The staff treats you like family, making you feel right at home. The food, particularly the fries, is exceptional and always changing. The beer selection is excellent and kept current. It’s a pleasure to dine at a small, locally owned and operated establishment.

The food here is consistently excellent. Everything I've tried has been enjoyable. The Caesar salad with chicken is fantastic—the dressing is quite unique and among the best I've ever had. The gumbo was flavorful, even though it didn't follow traditional recipes. The bread pudding is delicious as well, but it's a bit too rich to finish in one sitting. View menu

Went for dinner last weekend. It was quiet for a Saturday (July vacations, I suppose), so we sat at the bar. The atmosphere was very nice. Fried calamari and mussels were great apps. The beer selection was solid as well, and my wife enjoyed her wine. The bar staff was outstanding from a social aspect as well as providing menu suggestions. The only weakness in the whole experience was the salmon in the bouillabaisse my wife ordered (seemed either pre-cooked, or slightly off). The rest of the dish was good though. I had the steak frites, which I ordered medium. It came on the rare side of medium, which I much prefer over being overdone.

This place opened directly in front of the COVID. Good service, nice bar, the food was good, they made it a point to do something different to each dish to show their signature touch. I have the CPH burger I gave him 8 out of ten, if it had been taken from the grill. Normally, it would get 4 star Alway space for improvements. I'll give it 4.5. One thing to note, the fantastic was the house cut pommes. Yes I know Pommes!? These frits were cut diffuse seasoned well roasted to perfection. If you are light crispy not too oily pommes this. Make sure to really put it over the top for the homemade ranch dressing. Life is short. Family friends

"Impression #1: The place has a strong gambling atmosphere. The bar was bustling with patrons eagerly watching the Keno numbers on the screen, while the table next to us had four people completely engrossed in the Keno action, offering live commentary on the numbers, payouts, and sharing their past experiences throughout the night. Impression #2: New Rose feels like the authentic Chinese restaurants my family frequented when I was a kid, specifically the old Jade Garden located beneath the elevated tracks of the Jerome Avenue D Train in the Bronx. We ordered the PuPu Platter for two, which brought back memories of those days. It was an enormous assortment of golden-fried delights, including wings, chicken fingers, egg rolls, breaded shrimp, boneless ribs, and skewers of beef and chicken teriyaki, along with those standard yet predictable Crab Rangoons. At $22.95, it was an excellent value—we had half of it during the meal and saved the rest for later. So really, the PuPu for two is more like a PuPu for four, and if you're okay with indulging in all that fried goodness, you’ll end up with four servings for less than $7 each. We also ordered two cups of soup—my wife opted for the Won Ton at $3.50, while I had the classic Hot and Sour soup. The Hot and Sour broth was slightly thinner and less flavorful compared to some others, but it was still decent. It was meatless, yet the quality of the mushrooms and the delicate ribbons of soft tofu compensated nicely. Overall, it was quite tasty. Our server, Ann, was fantastic—very helpful and full of personality. The New Rose Garden boasts an extensive menu, featuring curries, Japanese appetizers, sushi, and sashimi. So, if you’re not a fan of deep-fried foods, you’ll find plenty of great options available."
