"Pretty decent little bar and grill. I’m going to start with the downside, for those that don’t want to read the whole review. It’s not a huge deal, but it would be preferable if the kitchen had some volume control over their radio. Nothing against trying to get through your work day listening to something you want to, but loud rap music coming from the kitchen over the top of the in house 80’s music just doesn’t mix well. Regardless of which music you want to play or hear, the kitchen music should never (regardless of place/location) be heard out in the dining area. Especially if they have other music playing in the dining area. Ruins the ambiance, and shows poor on the side of the staff to allow this to happen. Then you have to wonder if certain things are allowed, will others be allowed. It’s a very simple fix. Alert the kitchen staff that if their music can be heard in the dining area, then there will be no kitchen music. Anyhow, on to the rest. Service was good. They were not that busy, so that probably helped, as the wait staff were able to check on us constantly. Food came out in very reasonable time. Neither sandwich was out of this world, but we’re still very respectable. Onion rings were a bit undercooked on the burger, and simply lacked some flavor, and the sauce on the chicken sandwich wasn’t a favorite either. We would both likely choose a different option next time, as we certainly didn’t find “our favorites”, but, the service and food was decent enough to be very willing to try it again sometime. Place has potential for us, to be a good place to experiment with different things to try. However, we’re also not interested in listening to kitchen and dining music both, so some of this will be determined on what happens our next visit."

The food was too good to remember to take a photo of before eating said amazing steak and loaded baked potato. Sitting at the bar, the experience was only slightly marred when the bartender couldn't join in the rounds . . .

Had prime rib with loaded mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese, prime rib was med rare not medium like ordered no real flavor kind of bland the Mac n cheese was basically value brand and mashed potatoes were ok I would skip this place on quality. I'd like to put this as simply as I can... This steakhouse provided one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I am a chef, My son is a chef and my brother is a chef, so I can tell you that the food is outstanding! For those of you who live in Carroll, Iowa, you have an opportunity to experience great dining at a very reasonable price.

Was a wonderful experience. First time for our family of 14.Mandy was our server she was awesome.Friendly,timely, food was great. It was so nice to have servers like it use to be. We aren't really able to leave a review because they weren't open when we tried to go there. We drove 40 miles from Churdan for a nice date night and, when we arrived, all the lights were off. Their hours state that they are open on Monday but no answer on the phone and no ability to leave a voicemail.Don't go on a Monday or you will be very disappointed as we were. View menu

Ate there last night. Husband had the spaghetti and I the filet. Service was fantastic. Waitress was obviously very experienced. Husband enjoyed his spaghetti and I had enough filet left for lunch today as I eat very little. The sweet potato fries are amazing. Only lose a star due to the lettuce in our salads beginning to brown. Hopefully that changes tonight as I think we will be going back again.

Horrible food.....Shrimp was completely raw, Spaghetti and macaroni was way undercooked and very watery. Garlic bread was literally a roll with some garlic butter wiped on lt. Pretty sure they just reheated the shrimp...it was over all the worst restaurant I've eaten at in years. The waitress new we hated the food and offered us nothing when ahead took our still full plates....$57 for 2 bad meals?? What a joke.
