"I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. While my server was friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks full, the food was lacking in several ways. First, the loaded potato soup I ordered was an unexpected bright orange color, leading me to question whether I had actually ordered cheese soup instead. It was edible but definitely not something I'll remember. Next, the Mango Habanero tenders were a letdown. They looked nothing like the enticing image on the menu, appearing dry and unappetizing. To make things worse, there was no dipping sauce provided, which I felt was necessary. The corn on the cob was also dry and served without butter, leaving me unsure if it was even an option with the meal. It had a bit of moisture on the underside when I picked it up to eat, which was promising, but unfortunately, the top side was not appealing at all. Throughout my meal, I encountered several issues, yet no one checked in to see how things were going. I didn’t see a manager come by, which might just be a common practice here in California. If someone from management had taken the time to ask about my meal, they could have directly addressed the problems. While I understand that servers aren't responsible for food preparation or the overall dining experience, it would be helpful if they could report back on the amount of food being sent back to the kitchen. Interestingly enough, my server didn’t even offer a takeout box for my leftovers but simply took the food away. It makes me curious about the restaurant's policy in these situations. Ultimately, it’s the management's responsibility to ensure that guests leave satisfied, and it feels like a significant opportunity was missed during my visit."
