"Sadly, the Corner Bakery chain has been going downhill. Prices rise as the number of sandwiches from which to choose keep dwindling. Several of the store 's hours have been cut. The food is fairly good. However, I ordered the Choose Two deal which includes half a small sandwich and a small cup of soup (plus a small bag of hard potato chips or raw carrots). Unfortunately, the fine print indicates that if you pick a so-called premium sandwich or soup, you pay extra. My little half sandwich and cup of soup cost $14.00. Ridiculous. Plus, small drinks are $3.29. I prefer their breakfast dishes. The pancakes are especially good. Get their phone app and join their club. You earn points, but more importantly, they occasionally send special deals to your email."

Looks like some of the spinach in the sandwich was going or already was bad/spoiled. Drink and pasta were good though!

I’ve been coming here since I was in kindergarten, and the food never fails to impress. It's definitely one of the best places to eat!

Very good food. We went for lunch and had the Choose Two special. Just the right amount for a delicious lunch. Service was equally nice.

Great place for a quick lunch. Fast, friendly healthy. They need stronger coffee do not recommend the pancakes but the panninis wraps are delicious! View menu

The food was excellent. We visited for lunch and ordered the 'Choose Two' special, which was the perfect portion for a delightful meal. The service was also very pleasant.

I spent $40 to eat at this restaurant, but I received my sandwich wrapped in foil and my pancakes served on a plastic plate. For that price, I would have preferred to go somewhere else.

I ordered a ham and swiss the roll it was on was very hard it had one little fine piece of ham and one piece of swiss cheese thick slices of tomatoes way too many onions bread super hard and thick. Never again for a 13 dollar sandwich. I was only one there and it took them 20 minutes to buzz me on my 30 minute lunch. View menu

0 Stars. The staff here have a terrible attitude. It's my birthday month, and I've been trying to redeem my rewards every day, but they refuse to give me my free treat, iced coffee, muffin, or soup. I even showed them the rewards on my phone, yet they still said no. It's really frustrating. I'll try a different Corner Bakery location, but I won't be coming back to this one. Absolutely horrible!

I've visited this restaurant several times and had great experiences, but yesterday I ordered my usual for dinner and only had filtered water. Unfortunately, today I've been dealing with food poisoning for the past four hours since waking up. I'm currently at urgent care seeking help and am missing work because of it. I would strongly recommend looking for another restaurant. Avoid this place if you want to stay healthy.

"1 year update: My favorite restaurant, being a Lakewood local. Best joint around, hands down. The owner Vince Chere who will probably greet you are just amazing people. Come here, you won't regret it. Celiac safe too! Chere the one who took my order today and Vince, the owner, are AMAZING. I have Celiac disease so eating out can be hard and frustrating because not only my allergy to gluten but gluten free food that has been cross contaminated with food that does have gluten (shared surfaces, shared deep fryers, pans utensils et cetera) but NOT AT ZEST! Even though they are not a dedicated gluten free restaurant both Chere and Vince went out of their way to tell me what was safe (pretty much everything) and not only what was safe but how they were going to prepare it to make it safe, giving me peace of mind. I got the Pork Chop off the dinner menu and it was AMAZING! Zest is a small cozy place, bar, with great outdoor seating and a nice breakfast setting. Next time I'm trying breakfast and next dinner a GF Pizza. After this amazing first experience I'll be back again and again, probably tomorrow! If you're looking for well priced high quality food, Zest is it. Got celiac disease or on a GF diet? Zest is the best. Support this small business and enjoy some amazing food, service, and conversation. EDIT FOR SECOND MEAL EXPERIENCE Got the Buffalo Slider with truffle fries they used corn starch instead of flour just for my allergy, and fried in a separate pan. Amazing burger, HUGE too. Picture makes the burger look boring and fries look weird (mostly due to the cornstarch) but trust me that is the way it should look because it's the best GF buffalo burger I've ever had."
