"The meal felt rushed. End to end it was an hour, including drinks and dessert. The gap between dishes was too fast and the table clearing/re setting, too swift. The purple chips were too thick and hard. They'd be more enjoyable a bit thinner, almost like Indian papadam. Nothing was remarkable about the guacamole. It was completely normal and we were disappointed. The chocolate dessert and the sweet potato dishes were our favorite, both very good. The veggie on top of the mole looked good but the consistency was mush and the flavor unremarkable, despite the mole itself being fantastic. The plant choice (both flavor and consistency) took away from the mole."

It’s good meal and place. I asked the staff to call a cab, but it didn't come and I waited for an hour. I recommend to order uber.

Unique food choices which tastes good! A great experience with great ambience. There’s a waiting area for you to get drinks or sit and wait for the rest of your party.

hands down, the best contemporary high quality Mexican restaurant in the city. my favorite dish is the duck. it must try. design and atmosphere are phenomenal and eating is from this world.

eating was just amazing. I've had a combination I've never had. the personal was super friendly and fast with everything, and the atmosphere at cosme was funny. the food was definitely worth the price. View menu

overall a very great experience. eating was wonderful, though very expensive. the service was good, but the corn shell meringue and duck were the star of the night. I do not agree with top 50 of this is the best restaurant in America, but it is definitiw up

Honestly since Chef Daniela Soto left, this place has gone down in terms of food. First time I went in 2017 I had the most amazing rib eye but honestly now food is very average and I wouldnt catalogue it as mexican. For good mexican food I would go to Casa Carmen

- aazing! this upscale Mexican restaurant was all we could imagine. from the small tellers to the entenkarnitas this place is worth 100%. per previous commentary of course it is not nachos (ugh.) it is amazing eating and great cocktails. we had a waitress and another one for drinks. they really wait for them hand and foot. only go! the corn shell dessert is from this world. The ambiance was nice and intimate and no matter how lively it was you could comfortably hold a conversation. Service was impeccable. The food and drinks were delicious albeit slightly overpriced imo. The blue crab appetizer and the duck entree were my favorite. And they made a damn good café con leche as well. A reservation is a must as it's open only a few hours a day so getting a reasonable day and time may be difficult.

I am not very sure why this place has so much hype, or why everything costs an arm and a leg. I understand paying a premium for quality ingredients but at $98 entrees I would also expect something more inventive and flavor explosive than a simple duck that is borderline dry on a le Creuset pan or a fried pepper stuffed with beans and corn and a tiny bit of crab. At least the sleek dimly lit interior with funky mirrors made me feel like I was a character in sex in the city. Also what is up with $24 guac?

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
