"December 2021.I am so disappointed that we wasted almost $100.00 on this place. It has 4.5 stars on google but I swear to my soul I have no idea how it is rated that high! That is the reason I chose it and I regret not going to Bennetts like we had originally planned. It is such a pretty place outside but the food quality does not match. We were in there 1.5 hours, our waiter filled our glasses once. The prime rib was way over done s were the zucchini and what I finally realized was asparagus, initially I thought it green beans. The stone crab were obviously frozen, some still were because the lady across from us told her waiter that some of the ones she had were still frozen. Everything is low quality. The ribs were inedible, tasted like old boots, thats what happens when places boil them first. Mozzarella cheese stick I tried out of desperation and it wasnt even cooked, at all, it was still just a cheese log inside, weirdest thing, had never attemted to be meted. Popcorn shrimp was decent as was the alfredo pasta but thats the only seafood that was edible. It all just seemed like it was warmed up leftovers because of the way the breading was, fresh doesnt look like that. Coconut shrimp was extremely coconutty to the point of again, not being edible. Okra was okay but just seemed old, everything seemed old, nothing fresh at all, even the shredded cheese for the salad seemed either old or fake cheese, unsure which but it wasnt good. The ranch dressing of all things was actually very good. The sugar cookies on the desert bar looked ike drop biscuits and just as dry. I didnt try anything else. A lot of the desserts looked like they come from Sam's Club. The mini cheesecakes are the exact same ones Sams has as is the baklava. I heard another waiter telling all his people to have some ice cream, that they had the best and that pretty much sums the place up, their best item is the tubs of ice cream. I didnt have any but it was vanilla, chocolate, sberry and cookies n cream.I liked that they have Pepsi products but passed because of the outrageous price! Everyone knows beverages have the biggest upcharges but dayumn! I wanted a Pepsi, not looking to buy shares of PepsiCo. One thing that bugged me is their straws are too short for the cups they have, drove me nuts fishing my straw out each time I wanted a sip.On the table was a $10.00 coupon to the national pancake house, I didnt take it cause I was afraid it was a sister property. Lol.For the love of all that is holy, please do not go here. This will forever be one of my grown up regrets! They will email you a coupon for $5.00 off but that only brings your meal down to $41.99 a person and that does not include your beverage! It is not worth it by any stretch of the imagination!Very disappointed!"
