"What a hidden gem of a restaurant this place is! The restaurant is tucked on the side of the parking lot and isn't really visible from the road. When you first in, there is a small bar area on the right. We didn't venture in there but saw it as we waited in the entry way. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and had a sophisticated feel to it. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated within minutes of arriving. I wish I would've taken more photos of the inside because it was so pretty and classy! Very intimate table seatings and the interior gives upscale, date night vibes. Service: I would give the service a 5/5! Upon being seated, we were instantly greeted and asked for our drink orders. There were always someone walking around checking in on us, refilling our waters, asking how everything was. They were all very attentive. Drinks: I ordered the lecheetini and my husband ordered a White Russian. The lecheetini was so good! Perfect balance of sweet and a little sour. You can taste the lychee in it so if that's something that you don't favor, this drink isn't for you. My husband said that the White Russian was good and made well/strong. Food: If I could give a rating above 5 stars, I would!! All of the food that we ordered was amazing. For appetizers, we got the Thai beef jerky and miso soup. The Thai beef jerky was phenomenal. It was made with flavorful beef that was tender and so tasty. I could've eaten a full meal off of just those. So delicious! The miso soup was also good but was on par with any other miso soup. For entrees, we ordered the duck tamarind and pad see ew with shrimp. Let's just say that we cleaned our plates and there was no leftovers! The duck tamarind was delectable. The duck was tender and perfectly cooked, the sauce was amazing and complimented the duck. It did come with a side of rice, but honestly you didn't need it. The pad see ew with shrimp was also amazing. Probably the best pad see ew I have ever had. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and seared, the sauce on the noodles was sooo good and sweet, everything about the meal was amazing. My only regret is that I wish we had room for dessert! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend coming to this restaurant if you're looking for delicious Thai food! We will definitely be returning."

"Went to Trio as we have many times in the last. They were having a special menu in alignment with DFW restaurant week. While the food was great (as it has always been), the prix fixe menu was all they had. No items from the regular menu and even no duck biscuits to start, which is one of niceties of this restaurant that we love. The approach to have such a limited offering did not sit well with us. We were incredibly disappointed and question when/if we will go back again"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by the long line out the front door—it clearly indicated that it was worth the wait. The hostess was friendly and efficiently organized everyone, so the wait wasn't as long as I expected. I tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, and they were so delicious that my husband only managed to get two bites! He ordered the chicken fried chicken, which was tender and served hot. While his eggs were a bit overdone (something we've come to expect), he asked for crispy bacon, and it came out just right—not burnt, but perfectly crispy. We’ll definitely be back! Our waitress, Jennifer, was the best we’ve had in ages!"

"EDIT: When I originally posted this review, it was a simple 4 Star review with no comment. If I had left a comment, it probably would have been something like, Good BBQ for the price. And would have left it like that. But then something interesting happened. Within an hour of me posting my simple uncritical review with no words, I got a response from the owner thanking me for my review and inviting me to return. In that moment I felt very appreciated. It also took me back to earlier that evening and I remembered how nice, kind, and attentive every member of the staff was, even though it was quite busy in the restaurant. I remembered my eight year old daughter just over the moon about her ribs and saying she wanted to have her birthday party there. I remembered my four year old son munching happily on his brisket and gleefully trying everything we put in front of him. I remembered seeing my wife across the table with her brisket sandwich topped high with extra pickles and onions and smiling at me. I remembered a pleasant family dinner. When I saw that comment from the owner, I knew the appreciation of our visit and the invitation to return was genuine, because I experienced it during our meal. For all those reasons I knew I needed to elevate this review to five stars. Spring Creek Barbeque is a good place to eat."
