"New to Central Texas coming from up North, my husband and I decided to check this place out based on the reviews and because it?s on the lake. We?ll, I was not disappointed at all. It was a little chilly this particular day so we chose to sit inside. My waitress was Clarissa and she was awesome! Her suggestion was the shrimp and grits, and it was very good. It was so good, I forgot to take a picture! We also ordered the queso and my husband said ? that?s all he?s ordering next time with some drinks. Everyone was ver friendly and I can?t wait to go back on a day when it?s really nice to sit outside."

I took my sweets there for Father's day and it was a great first time experience. The view from our table was phenomenal and our food was exquisite. Only wish we could have tried the key lime pie that our waitress sold us on, but they ran out. Next time for sure!!

Went for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere was exactly what we needed. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fresh air and view of the lake. The food was great and the drinks were too. Service was a little slow considering how few customers were there but theywere still pleasant. View menu

I went to DeadFish for my anniversary and I couldn?t have had a better experience. The drinks, the view!!! Our server Andrea was incredibly helpful and patient. I?m extremely picky and she accommodated my needs so well I felt I needed to give her a shout out here. Awesome lady!!

The name through me off. I partly expected some Dive bar off the lake. This place was amazing. Food atmosphere service all awesome, well the free dessert for my wife's birthday was lack luster... but it was free. Definitely going back next time I amin the area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND RESERVATIONS.

I heard so many nice things about this restaurant that I had to check it myself. the whole experience was wonderful. the seating with views of the beautiful lake. it is so close, you can actually see fish schools. our waitress was amazing. eating was phenomenal. the only thing that would have done better would be a jukebox. music goes perfectly with dinner. Fantastic experience. Lee was my waiter, and he was professional, courteous, and personable. Sit up by the glass windows if you can, right when the sun goes down over Belton Lake. Probably one of the most romantic settings I've seen in quite some time. Portions are huge too. Margherita, Corona, coconut shrimp, and the catfish plate cost me 50$, not too shabby. Definitely bringing the Ole lady here!

We made a reservation on OpenTable. None of our preferences requested in our reservation were granted. We were hoping for a table with a view to celebrate our anniversary and were seated at one of the few tables in the restaurant without a view. My wife had shrimp and grits which were delicious. My burger didn't come out with her meal. The very friendly waitress said it was overcooked and they were making another. By the time it came out my wife was close to done eating. Maybe just an off night, but not our best experience eating out.
