"Take a trip to downtown Fresno and enjoy lunch at the Downtown Club. A very pleasant experience. I enjoyed the pineappleshrimp salad. No loud music, a bright, cheery atmosphere. and the tables are placed far apart. This all means that people can have a nice conversation during lunch and not hear what the guests at the next table are saying. I especially appreciate the fact that no loud music is playing. There may have been some soft jazz in the background, but to tell the truth, I do not even remember. This is my second time at the Downtown Club and will certainly return. In addition, it is in an interesting building with lots of Fresno history"

We did brunch here off a recommendation of a friend. The food was great and so were the mimosas. Staff was really friendly. A little more publicity and i think this place could take off as a brunch spot

What a great place to brunch! Servers are on top of refills and checking on you! This was my second brunch and I will definitely be back again! My only recommendation is to maybe have some music playing in the background...

We went for the bottomless mimosas and brunch. We were literally the only customers until a group of women showed up. The food was really good and they filled our glasses frequently. Mimosas weren't that strong, but they filled them often enough that it didn't matter. The staff was really friendly and hospitable. View menu

the service and the worth were very bad here. the restaurant seemed like a cafeteria. I have eaten here in the past and the quality has decreased significantly. the service was unprofessional, I felt as if I were in an almost food restaurant. cocktails and drinks were made wrong and the restaurant seemed to be on its last bites. I wouldn't eat here again and I'd be embarrassed to bring a colleague or a date here.

I would recommend the Downtown Club for lunch, happy hour or anything casual. We went on Valentine's Day and the service was good, but the ambiance was far from romantic. Appetizers of Bacon Wrapped Shrimp and Hummus were AWESOME! My husband's steak was good but my halibut was dry and over-cooked. Cheesecake dessert was delicious for us both. I've eaten there before and not been disappointed, but I think for special occasions and romance, I'll go elsewhere.
