"The clerk returned with the chef, who explained that they did not have Ital. As someone wisely pointed out, “No means next opportunity.” The chef then offered me a chance to try something I hadn’t had in over ten years: a Vegetable Rundown dinner. Without hesitation, I accepted. While waiting for my meal, I ordered two vegetable patties and coco bread as appetizers. My colleague, who had brought outside food, asked to taste the veggie patty. She was astounded by how delicious it was, even rating it better than the ones from Golden Krust in NYC! When my dinner arrived, everyone in the restaurant commented on how amazing it looked. My business partner tried some of my meal and jokingly asked, “Wow, that’s a nice portion; do you need help finishing it?” I laughed and shared some with her. After she tasted the food, she was blown away by its flavor. Now she wants to come back and order the same thing I had! Overall, the day was fantastic, thanks to the chef and the excellent service. We’re planning to return this Saturday to try the Jamaican national dish, ackee and salt fish! A big thank you to the chef and crew for the perfect Vegetable Rundown!"

Doctor Bird's cuisine gives me a back at home in Brooklyn. When you taste the rich flavors of good Jamaican food. The beef patties was simply fresh, the crust was flaky and light. The spice and meat mixture was phenomenal. The oxtails were tender, the spice and seasoning just right. The rice and beans excellent. The cabbage was tender, tasty and loads of flavor.

AUTHENTIC CARIBBEAN CUISINE!! There's an elderly Rasta chef in the back preparing everything FRESH. What a wonderful find just off Main and Highgate! The staff was exceptionally helpful in assisting us with our meal selections. We sampled the curried tofu, plantains, vegetables, and a spinach veggie patty. Every moment of the wait was worth it, and it was certainly worth every dollar spent.
