"What an experience! Let me just start by saying that I love a great mom and pop restaurant! This little place offers so much in terms food, service, and price that its hard to imagine how we as consumers ever settle for less.First, lets talk food. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner options I wish I could have tried everything! The menu has many things to choose from (the onion rings are phenomenal) as well as burgers, chicken, and the special of the day happened to be pot roast, so lets say variety is abundant. Now, judging by the quality of the double bacon cheeseburger on Texas toast that I ordered Id say you're safe ordering anything on the menu and being completely satisfied with quality and portion size.The next thing that caught my attention (it always does) is the cleanliness and service of the establishment. This place is very clean the floors are spotless, tables and chairs are in great shape, walls nicely painted, and the bathroom was clean and well kept. The service was spot on and prompt (we had 9 of traveling together) and Im positive we didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for the first plate to come out. Friendliest people and very professional.Now lets talk price. In todays day and age most could expect that to feed (9) people you can expect to pay out the nose, but here their prices are very affordable. With a generous tip we were out the door for less than $100 for 9 adults all eating meals and (2) appetizers!In closing, we would have never expected to find this gem where we did Pinnacle NCjust off I 74 with views of Pilot Mountain. If youre ever in that area plan on grabbing a solid meal and a smile."

Stopped in after staying at hanging rock state park. Fluffiest pancake I've ever had in my life. Great prices, good portion sizes and atmosphere. Will definitely go again for breakfast or lunch next time I'm in the area.

EJ's is a cozy restaurant with just eight tables, but don’t let its size deter you from dining here. We enjoyed breakfast and are already planning to return for dinner. The restaurant is impeccably clean and tastefully decorated. While the entrance features a swinging door that might pose a challenge for wheelchair users, it is level with the parking lot for easy access. They also offer family-sized portions that you can purchase to take home.

It 's one of those places. You know, those places that are nice and quite. That still take the time to make their food. Those places where you feel like you get more then you pay for. Where the staff is great and friendly. A place where you feel like you are in on a super secret find. That is untill the place fills up with the locals. Simple food done simply great. You can also buy dishes to take and cook. Well worth the stop so you can eat at one of those places.
