"Made a quick stop in Bakersfield. I’m not from the area. Looked up a sushi spot and seen this restaurant with great reviews. We got seated quickly and was later notified of “happy hour menu”. We’re a family of 6 and the food was given to us in a timely manner. Long story short, who ever ate sushi got sick. Only the kiddos didn’t (they chicken teriyaki and rice). "Good food. They serve complimentary papad with green chutney, tamarind chutney and pickle. We had aloo paratha and Garlic Naan, they were amazing!! I could have just had them by themselves. My husband enjoyed the Malai Kofta a lot. The paneer starter wasgood too. The next time around I might get a Paneer Sabji instead of Malai Kofta but thats just me. Along with the Malai Kofta,they served chopped onions, peppers, lemon and cucumbers as salad. I just wished the restaurant served chaas or masala chaas.Nevertheless I enjoyed the food."

"Came here for a few ice creams. What a disappointment! Never coming back again. First off the gentleman at the window kept acting like he couldn’t hear us but would not take out his air pod. Waited about ten minutes in line to get two ice creams that were the wrong flavor and the third he must have filled while we waited on the other car because it was all water. I literally came back and gave him that mess back for a refund. I’m so sick of fast food places. There used to be a really nice competent man who worked here. They need to bring him back the one there today at 1:50 pm doesn’t care."

"This is the best Indian food I ever had here in Bakersfield. The food is amazing and unique, full of spices and flavors that you may not have tried before. The service is also very amazing, fast serving and very clean. When I eat there, all empty tables are clean and ready for a new guest. The food is first strong for those who had never Indian food, but on the second visit it is amazing. So amazing that you desire for the spices they put in the meals. My personal favorite dish they serve is the chicken Biryani, it has chickens, onions, peppers, cinnamon sticks, rice and spices. It has a large portion size and it is affordable. If you ever want to taste Indian food in a restaurant, I recommend this place. You can't go wrong! Just know, eat slowly and not so sharp for new eaters."
