"The WORST food in many years, I ordered enchiladas stuffed with cheese, and instead they gave me a cheese sauce that was super bad, there was no cheese in the filling, the tortilla was cold and hard, and second my husband ordered a chicken breast that It tasted like fish, since I imagine that they roast them in the same pan and the flavor remains, honestly he ate the chicken-fish just out of hunger... The rice tasted like flour, it was terrible! How sad since we are working right next door and it would be the best option for our work group but I will definitely not return! The 2 stars are simply because the server was super nice and quick. I order to go alla cart tacos. Terrible! I don't even know how to explain them but the worst tacos I've ever had, order 4 ate 1. Took a bite out of the others because they were different. Threw it all away. Food: 1 Service: 2 View menu

We tried to enjoy a nice dinner. One person in our party did not like the food. We expressed our concern with the waiter. The waiter told us to talk to the cashier. The cashier got the manager who decided to say not my problem. Very unprofessional. Sad to see that the manager has to be with way. Food: 1

I went here this week. When I tried to eat my 2 tacos, I noticed the meat had a funny taste. The waitress didn't speak English very well, so trying to tell her was useles. I also ordered cheese and guacamole. When the waitress brought me the to go containers, the lids fell on the floor. The waitress picked the lids up off the floor and gave them to me to use. I asked her for new lids, and in a few minutes, she finally gave them to me. I love the El Maguey on the Belt Hwy, and I suggest everyone visit that one instead. Horrible experience and horrible food Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

"We arrived shortly after 7 p.m. and immediately overheard one of the staff engaged in a conversation filled with extremely foul language, which was quite off-putting for a first impression of a restaurant. After a few minutes, we were finally seated, but then we felt completely forgotten. It took over 40 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order, and we quickly decided to order our food at the same time. The wait for our food was equally long, taking another 35 to 40 minutes. I ordered the Simon sandwich with french fries. Unfortunately, it was drenched in so much barbecue sauce that it soaked through the bread and made it nearly impossible to enjoy. The roast beef was stringy and tough; every bite resulted in half the filling falling out, making it hard to chew. In the past, I have ordered that sandwich dozens of times and always considered it one of the best in St. Joseph, but tonight it was barely edible. I ended up leaving a quarter of the sandwich and quite a few of the french fries on my plate. The fries were overly greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. After we placed our food order, we didn't see our waitress again, so there were no drink refills, and we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. This was certainly not the experience I wanted my friend to have at a restaurant I used to cherish. I have no plans to return anytime soon."
