"My daughter and I visited the lunch buffet on March 14, 2024. We spent just over an hour there, enjoying our meal and chatting. The buffet costs $12.99 per person, excluding taxes and gratuity. Unfortunately, we found that most of the sauce containers were empty, with only one still filled. Additionally, more than half of the hot entrees were gone and not restocked. I mentioned this to an employee who did make an effort to refill some items, but it felt like the kitchen and management were indifferent to the situation. This was not the experience we have come to expect from this location. Given the limited options, I would say it's not worth the $12.99+ price tag. I will consider returning for lunch, but I will definitely check the buffet's offerings before sitting down next time."

Their dinners are really good, much more enjoyable than the lunch buffet. Not digging lunch, but later in the day it is not crowded or noisy.

The food was delicious, and although our server had limited English and seemed unsure about gluten-free options, we didn't encounter any issues. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience in a vibrant family-run Mexican restaurant. View menu

Went on a Sunday. The lunch buffet was very affordable, $20 for two people. They had a good selection of items on the buffet. The food was a little cold but we did arrive after 1pm. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp to get into the restaurant.

Attractive decor, quick seating, and food delivery. Descent queso dip. Decent pricing on the happy hour jumbo margarita, but it tasted far too alcoholic with barely a hint of lime. We've been to two other local Mexican restaurants and are still searching for a.good margarita in this area of southern Roanoke.

Honestly wish I could say it was better. My boyfriend and I planned our anniversary here specifically because we were interested in trying the Birria beef tacos. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the service was poor, my order was wrong, and our food just seemed so bland. The bill was $50, will not be returning to this View menu

I'm saddened to write this review, as this used to be the best Mexican restaurant in Roanoke. While it remains clean, has friendly staff, and serves great chips and salsa, the once-fabulous lunch buffet has deteriorated each time I've visited, despite the rising prices. On my most recent visit yesterday, they didn't even have soft-shell tortillas or cheese quesadillas available. I'm grateful for the memories, but it's disappointing to see how much this place has declined.

Update: The server did not understand English well enough to get the order correct. Seemed frustrated at me, the customer. Also, at check out, a different person helping did not say anything, for example: How was your visit? Thank you for visiting (He said nothing). Service has gone down here. Disappointed. Hope management gets service back to where it was because it used to be consistently good. There are many other Mexican restaurants in Roanoke.Original: Take out, food delicious affordable. Consistent.

"It seems that the choices and different dishes has drastically diminished since our last trip. This time, only three 'rice ' salads no tossed. There was a stack of dirty dishes at the beginning of the salad line, and after trying to remove a couple, I realized they all needed to be replaced. A young worker was watching, and apologized and offered to take away the entire stack however, I returned later, and the top one still had food from a prior diner. (I can 't believe someone could have removed this many from the dishwasher and not noticed it was very obvious). Every dish that should ahve been warm was not from soups to veggies to meat to bacon/sausage and waffles. I guess the little lites weren 't working under the serving dishes. It was not very busy, so these things were pretty inexcusable for such an expensive meal. It seems as the usual excuse keeps popping up: Covid. But I don 't buy that any more. We wanted to buy a $100 gift certificate for the Regency Room, and my husband went on Saturday (had to be purchased at front/check in counter) and there was only one worker, who said she 'd be busy for 30 minutes. So he left and we came for brunch the next day, to accomplish both errands. After brunch, we went to the check in counter were there were two clerks helping one customer each. After about 10 minutes, the party in front of us was finished so we stepped forward, and asked what we needed. Telling her that we wanted a $100 gift certificate for the Regency room, she said she had to finish up from the last party. After at least five minutes on the computer, she 'logged ' off, picked up her keys and walked away?! No explanation no mention of I 'll be back . Meanwhile, more people were in line behind me, and the other clerk was still working with the original party. So after at least another five minutes, I left. I think we won 't be giving any recommendations or gift certificates until service and quality improve."
