"I was at the Griffith Observatory and found this restaurant nearby. The staff was super nice. I chose a table at the corner outside next to the traffics light. It was a funny weird. The penne with arrabiatta sauce was great. The penne was Al dente, which is perfect. The sauce was spicy enough to make my nose run, and 4 spoons of the cheese made it cheesy, fatty enough to enjoy. I added seared shrimps but actually no need. The penne and sauce itself made it just right. The restaurant free appetizer was good too, the garlic and paprika in oil. The old classic chocolate cake was really rich but not too sweet, the chocolate coating was mirror shiny. Generally I like this place, the vibe and the food"

We celebrated a birthday at this restaurant and had an amazing waiter who made our experience great.

This was a romantic little spot with quick service and AMAZING pasta. We both got two different raviolis

The service and food were absolutely fantastic. The seating may be a bit cramped, but I see it as part of the restaurant's old Hollywood charm.

I highly recommend this charming Italian restaurant for delicious food at affordable prices. They serve generous portions and offer bread with olive oil before your meal. Be sure to try the Farfalle with salmon - it's a must! View menu

Vibe and service was great, however the food was very average. I didn’t feel like I was eating at an Italian restaurant, felt more like eating in a diner. Big portions making up for mediocre flavor and quality. For that I also found it overpriced.

The waiter got our drinks wrong and brought the incorrect beer. The gluten-free pasta was overcooked and the sausage was tough. Even though the sauce was tasty, the overall experience was underwhelming. However, the prices are quite fair. I might have just picked the wrong dishes, so I will give it one more chance for a third visit.

The waiter got our drink order wrong, bringing the incorrect type of beer. The gluten-free pasta was overcooked, and the sausage in the dish was crispy. Despite these issues, the sauce was delicious, making it a shame that the rest of the meal fell short. However, the prices at this restaurant are the best in the city. Perhaps I made a mistake with my order. I may consider giving this place another try. View menu

I believe this is the top Italian restaurant in town. I recently dined there and tried the spaghetti amatriciana, which had a perfect blend of flavors, spice, and meat. My partner had the lasagna bolognese, which was filling and delicious. The wine pairing was spot on. The service was traditional and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. Additionally, the prices were slightly lower than other trendy restaurants nearby, providing great value.

The food at this restaurant was exceptional, however, the service was lacking. Unfortunately, the waiter brought me the wrong dish and barely acknowledged the mistake. I had to wait while others at my table were already eating, and I had to ask for water refills as our glasses sat empty for quite some time. When we requested the bill, the waiter agreed but then seemed preoccupied with other tables, delaying our check for about 10 minutes. It appeared to be an off night, as the waiter did not seem pleased to be working.

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
