"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered a starter, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"Service was good…we did feel rushed and didn’t have much time between appetizers and dinner because they had a large party in the room in the back. My husband had the shrimp fra diavlo …not good- don’t order. I tasted it, the sauce has no flavor and it’s like they just threw jalapeños in the sauce to make it hot- avoid at all costs, not your traditional fra diavlo sauce"

"We absolutely adore Comfort at the Back Porch, which is why we chose Carlos and his team to cater our Comfy Casual Pavilion Wedding. They did an excellent job accommodating both adults and kids with their menu options. The adults savored dishes like Buffalo Mozzarella Tomatoes drizzled with Balsamic, a beautifully presented Colorful Side Salad, and the main course of Bacon-Wrapped Chicken with Spinach in Vodka Sauce (my husband's favorite), accompanied by Asparagus and an incredible Cauliflower Risotto. For the children, they offered Fruit Salad, authentic Chicken Fingers, and fries, and I must say, there was nothing left! Everyone raved about the food and its presentation, and Benji provided outstanding service throughout, from set-up to food delivery and pick-up. I cannot recommend them highly enough; we will definitely return!"

"As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a fire crackling in the fireplace. We had a 5 pm reservation for a table for two, nestled in the back room near the pizza oven prep area. It was nice and quiet back there, especially since the bar area tended to be a bit loud. Our server, Greg, was friendly and went over the food and drinks menu with us before returning to address our questions and offer us a wine tasting. On this chilly, blustery evening, we kicked things off with a bowl of Parc Onion Soup, featuring sweet onions, turkey stock, aged Comté, grated raclette, and crunchy onions. WOW, WOW, WOW—what an incredible blend of flavors and textures! It warmed our souls and set the stage for the delicious food to come. This onion soup has now reached the top tier of my favorites, rivaling one I enjoyed at a French restaurant in Cold Spring, NY, many years ago, where the addition of port wine made their version exceptional. Next, we shared the grilled Spanish octopus. I’ve held all octopus dishes to a high standard ever since I had a remarkable one eight years ago in Mainz, Germany. However, Parc Bistro’s octopus dish has definitely claimed the top spot now. It came with roasted cashew hummus, merguez sausage, Gigantes beans, sun-dried peppers, shaved fennel, roasted cashews, verjus, and smoked olive oil. The flavor profile was heavenly, making it the perfect dish for a blustery night. For our third course, we enjoyed the classic étouffée, featuring Cajun roux, the trinity (peppers, onions, and celery), andouille sausage, blackened shrimp, and buttermilk biscuits. This comforting dish was bursting with flavor—the smoky essence blended perfectly with the pepper and the rich red gravy. As for the wine, we started with a glass of GLS Albarino and ended up having three glasses in total (one each and one to share). Don’t forget to check out our food pictures, as the presentation was truly a work of art. We will definitely be returning. Bon Appétit!"

"To address the owners: This was my first and last time ordering from your restaurant. We typically enjoy fresh food that we've been eating for years, but your offerings were a disappointment. The chicken parmesan was overcooked, almost completely inedible, and ended up in the trash. The Italian stromboli was also burnt and mostly unappetizing, as the meat had an off taste. The meat in the penne alla vodka was similarly unappealing. I didn’t bother calling the restaurant because I don't want to waste any more time on this issue. Six days of suffering and feeling like my organs were shutting down from dehydration was more than enough. I missed six days of work due to this incident and ended up spending $200 on medical fees. You can choose not to believe me, and that’s your prerogative, but I felt it was important to warn others."
