You have to drive down a million mile, twisty, turny, uppy, downy road to get there from the main highway. The rooms are huge! It was VERY quiet there! Didn't get to float the river due to rain. Loved it tho!Rooms: Rooms are huge! (Rooms need their own microwaves tho.....)Walkability: PLENTY of walking areas!

Excellent resort, fantastic service with staff who act like they care and so much for families and kids to do.It's hard to stress enough just how family focused this place is. From build a bear activities, to alpacas brought in for pictures to outdoor movie nights free bike rentals this place has it all.We'll certainly be back

Trip did not live up to expectations as in previous years. Dirty lazy river, AC not working in room and spa massage chairs in terrible condition. Went to visit animals in petting area and was very disappointed in living conditions, very hot and little shade for them. I only have positive things to say about my stay at this resort. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and accommodating staff. The grounds and facilities are well kept. The rooms are well furnished and thoughtfully put togethere. I loved the water park and the lazy river, and all the restaurants on property were great. The many activities on the resort were well run. Would come back!

I received a truly life-changing massage from John at the spa. After just two different 2 hour sessions with him he has given me 90% pain relief of pain I have had for years upon years, as long as I can remember. I cannot recommend him enough. He’s extremely gifted and knows exactly how to help you. Truly a life-changing experience with him, cannot recommend enough. And Lorie Lyn at the checkin desk was wonderful!

Room was nice but needs upgraded toiletries. Some staff is excellent. The exception was a young man with ponytail in coffee shop gossiping about two men breaking up to two other employees while customers browsed. (On 9/6/23)The common area walls are pretty filthy. The grounds are gorgeous. Most employees were absolutely excellent. Would love to give a perfect rating but needs a few tweaks to be up to Hyatt Regency standard. It's a nice resort, but.... The restaurants are packed, the service is lousy, and the food isn't that great. The staff is hit or miss, mainly miss. The arcade is sad and most of the machines in the arcade were broken. The water park area is great and the kids also really enjoyed the Coral. There are no lights on the playground, but that's not a big deal in the grand scheme of the weekend. It's a great place, but not worthy of 5 stars. There's also no reason this place should be double the price of the Hyatt Regency Hill Country, which is better in every way. I won't be back to this location, but enjoyed the weekend.

Came here for a retreat for work and the experience was ok. The resort is located a few miles off State Hwy 71 E and the drive in showcases the woodsy area, golf course, and trail. They offer multiple restaurants and large conference rooms. The lazy river and pool (adult only section as well) was nice along with the multiple fire pits. There is a bar with food at the pool but it closes fairly early. The rooms are average size with nice views depending on where you’re located. From room to room and floor to floor, it’s quite noisy and hard to ignore. The food from the restaurant (Maverick’s) was ok but could’ve been better. They do serve pizza at another location that was quite good. Overall,...

Visited last year and was amazing. Returned this past weekend and it was terrible the service/quality is severely lacking. Rooms not ready on time, and they failed to notify me when room was ready. Almost every meal had significant delays, meals not entered and missing, food not prepared right (medium well burger was burnt on edges and raw in the middle), wrong meal was entered and delivered (ordered veggie tacos, got fish tacos). This was true for 5/7 meals. I probably had more apologies this padt weekend than I 've recieved in a year.
