"I was looking forward to trying Forrest Hills Pizza. I noticed that there was black stuff coming off of the pizza when I took my first bite It must have been from the oven. That tells me that the owner doesn't clean his oven often. This is the worst pizza place I have ever been too. I called to complain about the pizza. The owner said there was nothing wrong with the pizza. How would he know my fiance picked the pizza up? The owner said the pizza was supposed to be that way. When I was talking to him on the phone he told me to stop talking I have customers I'm too busy for you. Apparently, he didn't want to hear what I had to say about the pizza. Then he hung up on me. The owner was very disrespectful to me. When my finance picked up the pizza he told me he saw a bug on one of the tables where people sit and eat. The Board of Health needs to do an inspection at Forrest Hills Pizza. If I could give no star I would. I highly do not recommend this pizza place."

Delicious pizza located right across from the Forest Hills T and bus station, all at very reasonable prices.

Great diner fare! The portion sizes were generous, and the staff was very friendly. All three of us really enjoyed our meals.

Simple spot for a classic, inexpensive diner breakfast without the frou-frou. Eggs to order, omelettes, etc. Order at the counter. Set and clear your own table. View menu

A small diner serving generous portions at very reasonable prices. My 1 egg breakfast came with coffee, toast, 3 sausages and a large helping of home fried potatoes. Less than $7. And the folks in there were just great. Couldn't ask for more.

You get a very strong Hurry up, buy, and get out vibe from the old guy working behind the counter. He has no problem making customers feel like they 're an inconvenience regardless of whether they buy food or not. Hopefully someone steps in and ends the poor service being given in there.

I arrived a bit late at this charming Boston/sports-themed diner, just before closing time at 2:00 PM, and promised to eat quickly. What I received was a perfectly cooked meal of corned beef hash and eggs, accompanied by crispy home fries and buttered rye toast, all presented on a delightful red tray along with plenty of ketchup, salt, pepper, and jelly. I could barely finish it all, and it was only $11.50 after taxes. Whether you’re taking the Forest Hills T into Boston or heading into Back Bay on the southwest corridor, Forest Hills Diner is an excellent spot to enjoy delicious food served promptly! View menu

#1 I have never been to the resturant but i do have the food delivered. I have made over 75 orders from here in the past few years and can say I only have had 2 orders that I was not happy with. 1 was they read the order wrong and instead of getting anomelette it was a sandwhich and the 2nd was horrible hash browns that were due to the pandemic as the normal potatoes were notavailable. Have mainly used them for breakfast but have ordered the burgers a few times which i also liked. All being said theyare my goto for breakfast when open. unfortunatly they have been closed for a couple of weeks now. hope they reopen soon

I moved to the neighborhood in June and finally tried this restaurant for the first time. I had heard great things about their gyros and chicken, so I decided to sample both. I was not disappointed—everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, soft, and tender; unlike most takeout chicken, which can often be tough and gristly. I managed to devour 10 buffalo tenders in one sitting, something I've never done before! The gyro was equally impressive, made with simple, fresh ingredients that complemented each other perfectly. If the rest of the menu is anything like this, living in the area just got even better. Two thumbs up!

"If you’re looking for some of the most flavorful, fresh, and delicious ramen, you have to check out Isshindo Ramen! If you’re a ramen fan like me, you know the KEY to a good ramen boils down to the broth and the noodles. Some places the broth is too salty or “greasy”. You don’t have that issue here.I’ve gone to many ramen spots in multiple cities and this place keeps me coming back. Every time I am in Boston I must order from here. Luckily for me, I’ll be spending part of my year in Boston- so I’ll get to enjoy it more often! The broth is super flavorful, savory, and creamy. It is made using a specially treated water and boiled pork bones. This is what gives you that amazing broth and flavor! It’s also loaded with vitamins and nutrients. It is a great option for those looking for an alternative to traditional soup! The noodles used in the ramen are a little different than other Ramen spots- and that is okay! The noodles are more straight than traditional ramen noodles you know. They cook them perfectly so they aren’t mush. The broth is packaged separate for delivery- as to keep everything fresh and hot. The noodles will continue to cook in the boiling hot broth. Some places don’t account for that and the noodles don’t hold up. This place knows the deal and factors that in. I like that.Lastly, the chashu pork is melt-in-your-mouth incredible. You get four large, soft, and delicious cuts of pork belly in your ramen. I like to break the big pieces up. They don’t skimp at all on the quality or quantity of the meat. The ramen is also generously served with Woodear mushrooms, scallion, bean sprouts, nori seaweed, and a soy egg.I have ordered delivery from here multiple times and it’s my favorite spot in town for ramen. It’s always delivered piping hot and packaged very well! The broth is packed separate, as to keep the noodles from overcooking in the hot broth. It also prevents a soggy ramen. The packaging is perfect. I’ve never had anything spill or leak. They also include chopsticks and a soup spoon. Order is always accurate. If you love ramen, you’ve got to give Isshindo a try! You won’t be disappointed.Pro Tip: I recommend a ramen for each adult. However, if you want a bit bigger portion you can add extra noodles for a small up charge- that’s what I usually do. But aside from that, portions are generous. I just like extra noodles.I look forward to eventually eating here in person. But for now- delivery has not disappointed me yet! My favorite spot for ramen!"
