"We requested to sit at a high table near the bar but were told we couldn’t because of their preference to “compartmentalize” the seating. Keep in mind that this is a small restaurant, and the table we wanted was only about 15 feet away from the one they assigned us. Ultimately, we ended up at a lower table, and my husband, who has bad knees, asked the waiter if we could possibly sit at the higher table instead. The waiter responded very reluctantly, saying, “Well, I guess I can do that if your knees really hurt.” At that point, we chose to leave. It was the most ridiculous and uncomfortable welcome we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. We want to support small businesses in our town, but we won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places nearby where we can enjoy a breakfast or burger without feeling like a burden when we walk in. The food has always been good here, but it’s just as good at other spots down the street."

The food is decent, but they really need to address the issue with the flies. It's quite uncomfortable and frustrating to have them buzzing around and trying to land on your meal. View menu

My favorite breakfast spot! The food is incredible, and the service is top-notch. If Talisha is your server, you're in great hands. No matter how full you feel, be sure not to miss out on the cinnamon roll.

This is a fantastic restaurant for families! The food is delicious, and the portions are generous. However, I wish I could give it five stars. Unfortunately, our server, Rose, was extremely rude. It might be some time before we return. It’s a shame because we had started to become regulars and had been recommending Gabe's to our friends as a wonderful place to eat! View menu

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. Rose, our server, was fantastic! She recommended the most popular dishes from the menu and convinced me to try the green chili. I ended up ordering the meat lovers omelette with home fries, and it was delicious. As for kid-friendliness, they welcome children, making it a great spot for families. Overall, it was a wonderful breakfast experience!

"Every Wednesday and Thursday there is a great deal at the bar their burger, fries, and a beer for 20 dollars, so obviously I had to go. A steal! FYI only one beer is served for the deal. It 's Hank from Olde Mother Brewing Co. which was a 16oz light lager. All three of us loved the burger which was huge: two patties, thick cut bacon, pickles, onions, cheddar cheese, and a burger sauce, yum yum yum! The fries have old bay seasoning, and ya know... Maryland, amiright? They were served with ketchup and the burger sauce. The two people who came with me didn 't care for the beer, but that 's only because they aren 't beer people. I slurped mine up (and my partner 's and thought it was perfect with the burger. We also ordered new seasonal dessert items, which were pecan pie with maple ice cream and pumpkin cheesecake with grape sorbet. We couldn 't resist! The bartender and a waitress were raving about the pecan pie, and yes, it was really delicious. I loved the maple ice cream. I had the pumpkin cheesecake which was so soft and delicate. I 'm not a huge Concord grape fan but I ate all of the sorbet like a dehydrated person who was stranded on an island. It was very refreshing and cut through the fattiness of the cheesecake perfectly. The waiter was very nice and attentive! The bar was very clean and poppin ' and had people either taking advantage of the burger deal or eating other things from the menu. It did get loud at some points, which is expected because it was the bar, however(! there were no obnoxious drunk people killing the vibe. PS: I unfortunately didn 't take any photos this time. Sorry!"
