"Initially, I had a bit of trouble locating this place, mistakenly confusing it with Soho Diner. I went in with low expectations due to the poor reviews, but I ended up enjoying it! If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know I have a fondness for places filled with greenery, and this restaurant felt like stepping into a rainforest. I arrived early and my friends were running late, but the staff was incredibly friendly and patient as I waited for them. I didn’t have any drinks, but the juice looked delicious. One of my friends ordered a salad, while I opted for the granola, both of which were excellent. However, things took a turn when our third friend arrived. The service declined sharply at that point. It took an excessively long time for them to take her order and bring out the food—over 20 minutes. We tried to flag down staff multiple times, but they seemed overwhelmed and the place was quite crowded. I don’t think that's justified, especially in a restaurant located in Tribeca. While I truly appreciated the atmosphere and the ambiance, I feel like this is more of a one-time visit for me. I can’t imagine how chaotic it must be for larger groups. Perhaps it’s better during off-peak hours or for happy hour after work, but brunch is likely not the best time to visit. I suggest trying to come at a different time unless you’re okay with waiting."

The cutest cocktail bar on Canal!! I stumbled on this gem on a Saturday and did not want to leave. The drinks are delicious and refreshing! Order them all and make sure Ike is making it and Lucas is serving it up! I?ve literally found my new home. View menu

This place was so beautiful and we were so excited to try it. The front receptionist was clearly in a bad mood but was not excited to see customers. Kinda dampened the vibe but we looked past it. Demetrius was the most helpful. Food was okay, vibes and service were excellent. I would go back. Thanks for having us!

WATERMELON MARGARITA is a must try when you come here!!! They have really good skirt steak with chimichuri. Bartenders and waiter are very friendly. Overall, recommend this place for a date, family/friends dinner. Would go back to try more on the menu! Note: They are open all summer and closed during the cold season.

What a fantastic summer spot with a Miami vibe! Stepping into this place feels like entering another world—you'll definitely forget you're in New York. The food is delicious, with generous portion sizes that won't leave you hungry. The drinks are well-crafted and actually contain alcohol, unlike what you find in many places around the city these days. The staff is excellent too. I recently had a team gathering for drinks and appetizers after work. At first, our initial server seemed to be having a rough day. Despite our efforts to stay positive, the service from Marrisa and Jason truly exceeded our expectations! They went above and beyond to take care of us and transformed a challenging situation into a wonderful experience. They are amazing, and I highly recommend asking for them when you visit this restaurant!

A fantastic idea for a summer date outdoors! The lobster roll was packed with lobster and had the ideal blend of lemon, butter, and care. The skirt steak with chimichurri sauce was incredible as well. Gillian's has perfectly captured the boat and island beach decor, especially with all the beautiful plants around. The food is outstanding, and the ambiance is modern and summery. The beers were cold, and my fiancé enjoyed the frozen watermelon drink – she absolutely loved it!
