"My experience at this restaurant has been rather disappointing, particularly when it comes to the food, which I find truly unappetizing. I can't fathom how anyone could enjoy it. Perhaps the location plays a role in this. I've ordered from here multiple times, always promising myself it would be the last time, yet I keep giving it another shot, hoping for some improvement. Unfortunately, I’ve had to return dishes due to their unpalatable nature. When I say the food is terrible, I mean it sincerely. The dumplings taste like they’ve been soaking in water for far too long, and the stew peas consistently fall short. I would strongly advise against ordering the kidney dish as well. It’s clear that the owner needs to take steps to enhance the quality of this restaurant. Dear Golden Krust, it’s time to elevate your standards! Consider changing the chef or making some adjustments. I’m sharing this feedback sincerely—I live nearby and am truly disappointed with the quality of the food!"

I thoroughly enjoyed the hearty chicken soup. The server was exceptionally friendly, and I felt fantastic after having it.

The lady in front was so lazy she couldn’t put my beef patty inside my coco bread which I turn made a mess for me. If you’re lazy and don’t want to work then don’t work ! View menu

First impression. The women on the phone hung on me after I asked her a question. I ordered a large oxtail for delivery. The oxtail was a bit plane and tough to eat. I asked for gravy on my rice. The rice was dry and had little gravy. I was disappointed about my experience and food thus I give them 3 stars.

Yesterday, I purchased a chicken roti on Pitkin Ave for $11. Unfortunately, it was incredibly salty to the point where I couldn't taste any other flavors. I tried my best to eat as much as I could, but ended up throwing most of it away. It was a big letdown and I will not be returning. I'll stick to patties from now on. View menu

So I bought a chicken roti yesterday on Pitkin Ave. I paid $11 for high blood pressure. Listen, that roti was extremely salty. I am not exaggerating. I couldn't taste any flavor it was only salt. I tried at best to eat most of it, I guess I made out with about $6 worth cause the rest I had to throw out. It was a huge disappointment. Whoever that cook was that day don't need to make curry it's dangerous. Never again, I'll stick to pattis

This Golden Krust location is only average when it comes to their beef patties, and even those don't taste fresh anymore. The cashier was rude and seemed indifferent. The food used to be quite good, but my recent order was overly salty, the peas and rice were dry, and the chicken was mostly bones with just a small amount of gravy. I paid a decent amount for a very disappointing meal. From now on, I'll be heading to the Golden Krust on Utica Ave!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
