"We visited on a day when the restaurant was closed for Homecoming, as we were passing through town on our way back to Virginia. By coincidence, we arrived at the same time as one of the owners. He was incredibly friendly and generous, going out of his way to assist us despite the restaurant being closed. To top it off, we enjoyed one of the best ice creams we've ever tasted! Thank you for your kindness!"

Was a sad day at the ice cream shop... 4 servers behind the counter but none of them could get the orders right. I watched customer after customer ask for missing items, or corrections to their order all while waiting a very long time for even simple cones. I'm hoping it was just an off day. We'll try again soon and update afterward.
