I love the food! It was amazing, and of course the server offers excellent service! The food portions were very generous, none of us finished our food, we all had to take off afterwards, but 100% recommended

A classic American diner with breakfast anytime. Nothing fancy or subtle but all good. My favorites are their excellent breakfast choices but family likes lunch choices also. So rare to get good biscuits and gravy but they know how. Huge place so no problem bringing a large group.

So I went to Groton Townhouse after therapy I felt like a nice salad. This is what they served as a BLT SALAD. The lettuce was bulky with a lot of spine pieces the bacon hard then egg medium well just very unapealing. The manager refuse to see me and it least offer a alternative. The server simply said he's busy and can't come out but he did come out to greet another coustomer. My last time with them. View menu

The Groton Townhouse offers a wide range of high-quality foods at a reasonable price. My wife and I love eating here. Your menu offers over a hundred different options. Many come here for breakfast. And... yes, we enjoy their breakfast. But, in my opinion, the dinners are the best dishes they offer! The Tilapia, crushed in a rich, generous lobster Newburg, is excellent. And this dish comes with a cup of soup (or salad), two sides of vegetables and a piece of cake or cake. Your cakes and cakes are also very good. The attached photo shows the elections we were given. The service is great, food arrives quickly and prices are good. The Townhouse is like a diner on steroids.

Ordered the same thing on 3 straight occasions. Early in the morning when it is relatively empty. Got the wrong food. The 3rd time I mentioned very respectfully to the waitress that the chef isn 't clear on how to make some things on the menu. Someoneshould let him know. She replied, well, its the owner. To which I doubled down, well, the owner doesn 't know how to makewhat 's on the menu. When she returned, she had to apologize for the owner who was no where to be seen. Our table was told, well... he is tired. Not only is he tired, he is a coward for sending someone else out to make excuses instead of owning hisown mistake. Made excuses, blamed his worker, wouldn 't come out and apologize.....

This place reminds me of the family restaurants I went back in the 80s. It was nostalgic for me. The staff was nice and helpful. Many seats, so don't wait. The menu has a number of options for all in the family. We were in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch. I opted for the BLT chicken sandwich (usually seasoned grilled chicken breast with bacon, salad, tomatoes and avocado on a sesame seed bunker), and knitter fries (do not shade these in years). I enjoyed my meal together with an unsweetened iced tea. My son has spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was al Dente, which was good, but the sauce tasted funny (I confirmed that when I tried a bite). To start, our waitress Grisella was pleasant, professional and courteous. The reason for three stars is that I ordered a patti melt and asked the waitress if I could have a turkey burger instead of the standard beef burger that comes on a classic patti melt. She said, “So, you want a turkey burger on bread?”. I said no. The patty melt comes grilled, on rye and melted cheese and onions. She said, “well you can have whatever kind of bread you want on your turkey burger”. So I said, I want rye, like is supposed to be on the patti melt.
