"The place is beautiful. I think there's a lot of potential. But they're cheating. When we came in, the young woman spoke loudly at the desk about being confused, something was not where it had to be, it was all very audible, her distress obviously, and there were customers waiting there for a few minutes to sit. The menu was on non-stacked paper sheets that were not numbered. The two menus they gave us were also not merged. So we were immediately confused. Wait employees didn't know what they did. The food was delivered to the wrong table several times. The courts themselves were met or dismissed. For tapas, the portions were too big and heavy, and there was too much sauce on the dish to rest for food. The sauce, in two cases, felt superfluous, even problematic. It has not added any taste wisely, was even a bit confusing (sometimes that tasted like Hommus was used as bed for Meduros packed in bacon). The portions made no sense for tapas. TS and I usually get 6 tapas for a meal, we were unable to finish what we ordered. For example, we filled Tacos with Jonah-Cab. The tortillas were made from Yucca (delicious but heavy) and each taco had two tortillas. This is necessary for Maistortillas because they can tear. Yucca tortillas are much more robust, and much more filling. It was over. Someone has to take a good look at the river and the menu. We need a good Cuban restaurant, and I hope Gustazo gets her act together."

Great service despite a busy night. Would be nicer if we could be seated outdoors the way I had originally made the reservation. View menu

As for kid-friendliness, we saw families with young children in high chairs, and it seemed very accommodating. Parking is usually available on the street, and it may even be free in the evening, but there aren't any parking lots nearby.

We absolutely loved our meal, and the back patio provided a lovely atmosphere. We began with the ensalada de habas, which we found delightful, and the ceviche special, which came with a generous serving of plantain chips. Both dishes were fantastic! The arroz con pollo was extraordinary. We will definitely return to savor this amazing food again!

Service was bad. Food was delicious. It wasn't that busy but our server couldn't seem to take simple orders. He would take our order, forget, and come back to take our order again. We had to keep reminding him that we ordered already. They also removed my favorite coconut cocktail off their drinks list! No biggie though. Still highly recommend for the food View menu

I used to visit this place twice a month. Unfortunately, On May 2023, the chef/owner wasn’t there, food was not at outstanding as it normally was… I was disappointed and I stopped going there. Today, I wanted to give them a chance and it was really worthy! It was noticeable that chef/owner was back! Food was another level!!! You guys have your flavors back! Well done!

Our drinks arrived after we received our first two dishes, despite us asking another server about them. When my drink finally came, the glass was only half full — and it turned out to be just half gin with no tonic. A bit too strong for my liking. The waitress apologized and brought me a "new" drink but took the "old" one away. Unfortunately, the new drink was all tonic, which I assume was intended to be added to the original half glass of gin that the waitress discarded. At that point, I threw in the towel. We finished our remaining three dishes and left. The food was good, but it’s clear you need to plan your orders carefully to ensure the drinks arrive first and the food isn’t served too...

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
