"We had a fantastic dining experience! We absolutely loved the pompanos and are thrilled to find fresh seafood in Columbus. Our dinner tonight was exceptional. From the crab claws and she-crab soup to the grouper panama and seafood platter, everything was delicious! We appreciated being able to call ahead for seating, which allowed us to skip the wait. Our waitress, Tasha, was outstanding, and the young woman who seated us was incredibly sweet and polite—it's a shame I didn't catch her name. Overall, our experience was truly commendable! We will definitely return and would love to see some of our favorite pompanos dishes like steak pompano, oyster Rockefeller, and seafood Lacoste added to the menu!"

We LOVE this food. Always consistently good and our last visit was the best one yet. I recommend the Grouper filet and she crab soup.Parking: It's adjoined to a gas station but don't let that stop you, this is awesome food!

Very slow service, 40 minutes for two greasy heavily breaded fish fry dinners and a skimpy “taco special”. This is very high priced fast food—but of MRE quality at best. The chef would do well to keep his duff in the kitchen rather than plunking it down at the bar and slowing that service—40 mins toget a drink this visit. The best thing at this location might be the gas station. View menu

We had a bit of everything from appetizer through dessert and drinks. We ate at the bar to keep from waiting on a table. ALL the food was fresh and delicious and the service was excellent. Only one tiny hiccup and they went above and beyond to remedy that. Pleasantly surprised with the whole experience and will definitely be back. I thought the prices were very reasonable, especially since the entrees include 2 sides, a salad and bread.

So excited to have this gem in Columbus. They opened at 4, and we got there at 4:01. They were ready to serve us with a smile! Chargrilled oysters were mouthwatering! My father in law got a dozen raw and said they were better than the ones in PCB. The Peel and Eat shrimp special was delicious and the happy hour specials made the laid back atmosphere even more appealing to sit and hang out for awhile. We will be back for that key lime pie!

We visited the restaurant for the first time this evening and had a wonderful experience. For appetizers, we tried the Bluewater Oysters, raw oysters, and Bluewater Poutine fries. My wife isn't typically a fan of oysters, but she thoroughly enjoyed the Bluewater Oysters. The Poutine fries were also amazing! For our main course, we ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the Bluewater Platter (Cajun style). The food was fantastic! The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back! View menu

Just had one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. My wife and I walked in with no one waiting. A couple that came in about 5 minutes after us were seated before us with no reservations. After I just heard the Manager talking to the Host’s about having people waiting when there’s empty tables and no reservations are in. Then the young guy who was one of the hosts looked right at us afterwards and tells my wife that we came in at the same time as the other couple when she says something about them being seated before us. We walked in the door with no other people behind us or in front of us.

Such a cute little spot. Tucked away, if we hadn’t have seen a billboard on veterans parkway we probably would never have known it existed. Tristan was attentive and engaging. He got our order correct, checked on us adequately, and was pleasant. He made recommendations and suggestions as it was our first visit. There was a lady with a cheetah print hat that brought our son his shrimp and French fries, she was positive and her energy was so infectious. Loved the atmosphere, the wall decor and the food. Everything was hot, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We will be back to try more options. Undoubtedly recommend.

"Food quality Service Ambiance Value Menu selection Location/Accessibility Overall experience Date visited: 11/11/2023 During a weekend excursion to the vibrant city of Columbus, I seized the opportunity to indulge my palate in the diverse and rich flavors of Indian cuisine at Aab India Restaurant. Accompanied by my dining companion, KK, our culinary escapade unfolded with the promise of an extraordinary dining experience. Arriving just before noon, we found the exterior of Aab India unassuming, a subtle facade that betrayed little of the culinary marvels concealed within. The challenge of parking, however, proved a minor detour on our quest for gastronomic bliss. Having secured a spot in the Big Lot parking lot down the street, we waited outside, eagerly anticipating the moment when the doors would swing open to reveal the warmth and aromatic allure that awaited us. As the clock struck 12, the portal to this culinary haven opened, and we eagerly sought refuge from the brisk autumn air. A gracious staff member ushered us to a neatly arranged table, allowing my companion to peruse the menu while I immersed myself in the restaurant's ambiance. The interior unfolded with systematic organization—tables optimized for space, a bar counter adorned with a curated collection hinting at a storied history, and at the far end, a buffet counter laden with an enticing array of Indian culinary treasures. The decor, an elegant fusion of warmth and antiquity, transported diners to a bygone era. With its antique-inspired ceiling, floor, and furnishings, Aab India exuded an authenticity that promised an immersive dining experience. The warm color palette and tantalizing aroma further heightened the anticipation, especially as I imagined the ambiance taking on a magical allure as daylight gave way to night. Choosing the all-you-can-eat buffet, we joined a queue that mirrored our eagerness to explore the Indian culinary landscape. Labels adorned each tray, providing glimpses into the myriad dishes that awaited us. My plate became a canvas for a symphony of flavors—a scoop of herbal basmati rice, curry that was a departure from the familiar Chicken Tikka Masala, naan bread, fresh vegetables, and a dessert whose uniqueness intrigued my senses. Returning to our table, the first bites were revelations. The curry, a choreography of spices, danced on my palate, and the naan bread, while exemplary on its own, ascended to sublime heights when dipped in the curry. KK, fully immersed in the experience, relished basmati rice, Chicken Tikka, and an assortment of vegetables with evident delight. In the midst of our culinary reverie, an attentive waitress graced our table, ensuring our glasses remained filled. A managerial or culinary presence, keen on enhancing our experience, paid a gracious visit, adding a personal touch to our culinary journey. Our senses satiated and the ambiance savored, we lingered a while before bidding adieu to the burgeoning crowd. Overwhelmed by the newfound popularity, we settled the bill, generously tipping for the delightful fare and attentive service—a mere $16 per person, a paltry sum for the culinary symphony we had indulged in. Overall, Aab India Restaurant emerges as an unparalleled gem in the culinary scene of Columbus. A haven for those seeking not just a meal but a gastronomic journey, it stands as a testament to the alluring wonders of Indian cuisine. As I departed, the promise echoed—an assurance that whenever Columbus beckons, Aab India will be my chosen sanctuary for an encore of extraordinary flavors and warm hospitality."
