"YOu will love it. Everything we have eaten there was great!!! Cheese sticks are homemade, steaks should be ordered blackened. Best quality of beef I have had in a long time and I love steaks. Fried Shrimp were out of this world. Best Ones other than my mother in laws which are my favorite. I would highly reccoment this to anyone. Me and my husband visit this area at least once amonth during rafting season. We would come more but we live 8 hours away and have to work. We always eat here at leat two or three times while we are in town. Service was great too. IF you go early you can get lunch portions before 5:30 which are plenty filling and even better price than you would get for dinner. Prices are great especially with the quality of food you get. I am a very picky eater and I promise you will not be disappointed."

The food was excellent! I had a steak dinner along with sides, drinks, and appetizers, all for under $50. The service was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this place!

Food is always very good, whether dine-in or take-out. Order early for take-out, as there is frequently a wait. And note the small plate specials; they are available all day. Burgers are legendary, and fresh seafood is a real treat to find in the mountains!

My mom , who lives in Bryson City, took me to jimmy Macs for lunch today, i ordered the Minnesota fats burger, and added swiss cheese and bacon, and this was one of the best burgers i have ever had, cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, even the steak fries were cooked perfectly. staff was excellent, very reasonably priced. going back this weekend for sure.

The service was not satisfactory, and the prices were considerably higher than what was listed on the online menu. The food was good, but we had to wait 20 minutes despite there being only four other customers in the restaurant. We received one less side dish, and the price had significantly increased! After many years as a local customer, we will not be returning. View menu

Although I've only been to this restaurant in Bryson City once, I'm sort of biased in favor of it. Jimmy Mac originally owned a bar/restaurant in Tampa, FL where I grew up. My wife and I used to love going there as high school kids, so we were delighted when we discovered that Jimmy Mac had opened up a new restaurant in Bryson City (my parents have a house nearby).

Came all the way from Maryland to visit family, called before we came and asked them if they would be opened on Xmas Eve told me yes, so I made my reservations. Night before was walking downtown told Jimmy himself we would see him the next evening still said nothing about being closed. Got there at 7:15 time of our reservation and guess what they were closed. No Note, No Nothing had to find somewhere else to go. We were very disappointed.

I've been coming here for a few years and have never had a bad meal. However, the front-of-house operations could use a better manager. We always try to request the same older waitress because we know she does an excellent job. The only complaint we've had is about the wait for a table, even during slower times. Sometimes it takes a while to get our drink order or to check if we need anything else. So, if you're planning to visit, don't expect to be in a rush. View menu

Food not very good and can never find anything worth eating on the menu. Service is okay sometimes when it 's slow but is terrible when it 's busy. The problem is that there are not very many places to eat in Bryson City so we end up here when we really would rather go somewhere else. I believe if this restaurant were in a large city, it would have FAILED a long time ago. I feel the owners could care less about it 's customers and whether they do a good job or not.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially considering the restaurant's initial appearance. I was completely wrong in my assumptions! The food was outstanding: the Buffalo burger was delicious, and the elk burger was extraordinary. I had the best grilled grouper I've ever tasted, right here in Bryson City. Be sure to order their homemade fries—they're exceptional. It's a locally owned establishment with delightful service. Treat your taste buds to a great experience!

"The party of eight was seated, followed by the parties of five and six. Then, a large group of over 20 people arrived. The chef/owner came out to greet them; it turned out they were his wife’s family, the Shulers. They seated the entire group of 20 ahead of us, even though we had been waiting for an hour and a half by that time. I acknowledged it was his restaurant and he could manage it as he saw fit, but it felt unfair. Next, the party of seven, who had arrived after us, was also seated. They were from out of town and had been waiting a long time, too. About 15 minutes later, I decided to check on our table. The hostess told me her ‘boss’ had instructed her to seat the party of seven, even though we should have been next as the next largest group. By then, we had been waiting for two hours. Despite our longer wait and our clearly hungry kids, they showed no empathy or explanation. I was baffled by the way we were treated and why we were continually overlooked. As an elementary teacher, I can say we’re a nice family with well-behaved kids. It felt like we were being dismissed simply because we were out-of-town visitors, with the restaurant catering only to locals. That’s their choice, of course, but I’ve felt wronged ever since. We ultimately left and went to CJ’s instead. I’m sure the food at Pasqualino’s is good, but I couldn’t support a business that so clearly didn’t value our presence. By the way, I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones, but my family’s experience was genuinely disappointing. I hope yours is better."
