"I won a gift certificate to Jim's in Prunadale a while back and gave it as a thank you to someone today. They went to the restaurant with the intention of using it to pay for part of their dinner. The staff at Jim's in prunedale refused to accept the gift certificate. They were quite rude to the person who I gave I t to, and to myself when I called them on the phone to inquire why they didn't accept the gift certificate. In California gift certificates do not expire and they follow the business not the owner of the business. Their claim was it was no good because the business has a new owner...which is against the law. I will be contacting the owner tomorrow and see what they have to say as their staff said they were not in today. I have gone to Jim's in Seaside for over 10 years and have the best experiences ever and I am shocked at what happened at the prunedale location I never expected this from Jim's"

We have never had a bad meal. My husband tried the Mandarin chicken really enjoyed it so much that it's become a favorite for him. I have enjoyed it the mushrooms beef. It is take out only for now. Always friendly service.

Really good Chinese food and cheap. The service is fantastic, our server was very friendly and efficient. We received very generous portions. It is located near a car repair shop so is the perfect place to eat while waiting for smog check etc. Recommend this family restaurant.

The restaurant in Prunedale has a new owner and is now named Annie’s Place. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal of sweet and sour buns served with steamed white rice. My partner ordered the broccoli beef, which was loaded with broccoli. Although I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the dish, overall it was a pleasant dining experience. View menu

The Chinese food here is excellent and reasonably priced. The service is outstanding; our server was friendly and efficient. We were given generous portions as well. The restaurant is conveniently located near a car repair shop, making it the ideal spot to grab a bite while waiting for a smog check or other services. I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant!
