"I had hoped that our meal would be good here as the adverts would make it look amazing. I ordered the new fried maine lobster. it came with cheese sauces, an ohr of mais and garlic bread. the mais was the best on my teller. It was pretty good. the lobster bites were different and u will not complain about the amount, but the panko broting overwhelms the lobster taste completely. I could have eaten everything and not know what it was. the cheeses had very little wurst in them. almost none. i.e. ordered one of the crabs. warning. the actual meal times look nothing like what you get. $28 bucket good... $49 bucket was horrible. Lobster was rubber, clams did not open and corn was unbeatable. Manager made good by bringing us a be lobster and clams. Second try was good. I would give it a 75% overall.

We ordered the crab dip, which was great! However my dinner, shrimp and fish was less than appetizing. No flavor and kind of gooey?! I have mixed feelings because there were $2 mixed drinks so it could have been worse!

terrible eating. I said and showed the manager the $30 crawling bones I ordered had little to no flesh in them and she scrubbed her shoulders and said that all she could do would decrease 50% of the bill. I will never return to another joe’s crab shack. View menu

Not what we expected. We always make Joe's a stop when we vacation in Myrtle Beach. The past times there were no complaints, but this time, it seemed as if everything was precooked and reheated. We bought 2 steampots; the KJ and the Original. The potatos were cold, there was only 1 sausage and 2 ears of corn. Normally you would have to wait for these to cool down hence the steampot, but my 3 1/2 year old reach right in and grabbed an ear of corn. Hopefully this was a one time deal, because we really enjoy eating a Joe's.

visited broadway on the beach today and decided to eat at joe’s. arrived and the host continued to put us all the way into the kitchen. the restaurant was almost empty, so she brought us where I don't know. Anyway, we asked for another table on the window. She acted as if she had pissed us off! She sat on a table that had been freed from execution, but had not been wiped. I said the table was dirty and had to be cleaned and she ignored me. we have decided to go at this point and tell them on the way out why we go and host one if they can call it, actually laugh! bad business!
