"I had an excellent dining experience at the Taqueria, where the food was both delicious and generously portioned! I tried a quesadilla made with corn tortillas, which is something I haven't found at other taquerias I've visited. My family also ordered nachos, another quesadilla, and a tostada, and everything was flavorful! (Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of her meal before it was all gone.) The market inside is a bit small and cramped, and it was a little inconvenient that the items we picked didn’t have price tags. However, they do offer fresh meats, pan (Mexican sweet bread), and some essential cooking ingredients you might need."

Great food! To minimize your wait, it's best to order in advance.

The torta with cabeza was fantastic. The market and bakery also seemed inviting.

The tacos are incredibly flavorful, and the salsa adds an amazing extra dimension. It's not too spicy, making it perfect for those who just want a bit of a flavor boost. Refreshing, and I would definitely eat here again!

Fantastic Mexican cuisine! I would definitely recommend this place. The chile rellenos were quite unique compared to what you typically find at chain restaurants, but they were absolutely delicious! The rice was well-seasoned, and the chimichanga was scrumptious. View menu

Fantastic food and service! I ordered a torta and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion. The pricing is reasonable, and the quality is outstanding. The staff is friendly and serves with a smile. I'm really glad I discovered this spot and will definitely return on my next trip to Tahoe.

I'm surprised by how terrible this place was. I spent nearly $50 on takeout for two people and honestly, I could have gotten better quality food from Taco Bell just down the street. Want a side of salsa? That'll be an extra $10. My chimichanga had a strange sweetness, as if it had been deep fried in the same oil used for desserts. The guacamole and chips were decent, but overall, I won't be returning.

This restaurant is a great choice for traditional Baja-style Mexican cuisine. We often opt for the Carnitas plate or the chicken street tacos, and both dishes are fantastic. Inside, the market is quite impressive, offering genuine Mexican brands and a meat counter towards the back. When it comes to the taqueria, you'll need to place your order outside, and the wait times can be quite long. I suggest ordering in advance or using the app to save time. View menu

This place hit the spot. Rarely do I go back to the same restaurant twice in the same trip because I like to explore other food, but I found myself going back 3 times because it was that good. I'm spoiled with plenty of Mexican food in Los Angeles too, and this place was on par if not better than some spots at home. I had the asada burrito which was a really good size and the asada combo plate which was really good as well. Highly recommend this place.

During our first visit, we savored some delightful carnitas chimichangas, fish burritos, and tacos, paired with refreshing horchata and more. The shop was quaint and offered a wide selection of Mexican snacks, candies, dried spices, and canned goods, along with an impressive display of freshly grilled meats. Additionally, there were cabinets filled with large, freshly baked cookies, breads, and cake slices! However, it’s not very stroller-friendly. The only seating available outside consists of about four picnic tables for diners. We will definitely return for more, especially from Taqueria!
