"On our final night in Vail, La Nonna exceeded our expectations. My wife and I shared an appetizer, a pasta dish, and the veal scallopine, and each dish was outstanding. We started with the mussels, which were served in a light sauce that was perfect for dipping into their delicious bread. For our main course, we chose the seafood pasta with a light tomato sauce that wasn't overly tangy, and the seafood was delightful; the octopus was tender and not at all chewy. The veal scallopine was very good, though I was expecting a more traditional preparation—it was more akin to veal parmesan, so just be aware of that if you decide to order it. For dessert, we indulged in the pear tart, and I can honestly say we loved it! The portion sizes were perfect for sharing. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The wait staff was knowledgeable, and the supporting staff took care of all the little details."

This a pasta place. Pasta dishes were better than other dishes ordered. But the pasta was outstanding

Portions a bit small but all were very tasty. Would certainly go back and recommend. One of the better meals we’ve had in Vail.

This is a pasta restaurant, and I found the pasta dishes to be superior to the other items we ordered. The pasta itself was outstanding!

We loved La Nonna. We had halibut, perfectly cooked and delicious, and an excellent salad and soup to start. Service was fast and friendly. View menu

Wow! What an amazing dining experience. The location is fantastic, offering beautiful mountain views. The service was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is complemented by the warmth of the other diners nearby. The cocktail menu is fun; I tried a lavender cocktail that was delightful. As for the food, it was exceptional! The gazpacho was delicious, and I had a veal scallopini while my husband enjoyed the rigatoni with eggplant. We loved both dishes. If you're visiting Vail, you absolutely must have dinner here!

Amazing Homemade Italian, Perfected! My husband and I started out with a bottle of Vencia Ronco del Cerò and the bruschetta and both were phenomenal!! Next, he had the Cesar which was good but I didn’t love the crispy breadcrumbs on top. I ordered the pasta special that night which was tagliatelle, shrimp, tomatoes, white wine and basil and it was so simple and so delicious!! My husband had the mushroom ravioli with truffle oil and that was even better. His dish was very rich and we ended up swapping dinners halfway thru and happy we did that as we both loved each pasta dish. We finished the dinner with a complementary glass of limoncello as it was our anniversary. We both said this was one...

"Very good pizza. Crust was good, the pizza was cheesy, ingredients are good. The jury is out on the sliced sausage, though. Overall, the pizza is enjoyable and hit the spot. The Greek salad was fresh and good. They give paper trays to eat it with. Kinda different. The silverware they use is cheap stuff, cheaper than the cheapest dinnerware you can buy at Walmart. Oh well. The BBQ wings were OK, not bad, not great. Inside is comfortable enough with tables and chairs. There by the utensils are also pizza cutters to use. Very handy, especially as cheesy as the pizza is. They have other very interesting items and daily special items on their chalkboards throughout the restaurant. Wondering about their signage as we went after dark and all I could see is Pizza in red lighting. There was nothing that said Arizona Pizza Company that I could see. It was worth the 22 minutes to get there from my house. 5* A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!"
