"Staff and poor management ruined our Mother's Day dinner. 1. Restaurant ran out of food, because of poor planning on Mother's Day. My mother only eats fish for meat. As a result, we had their terrible and overpriced and bland $28 pasta. Not recommended. The waiter did not inform the fish was not available. Because he was slow, someone else ordered the last one. Don't order this. Definitely not worth the money. 2. We also ordered the $18 burger. I don't know what everyone is raving out. It's not that a burger can't be worth that cost. But did they add truffles? A wonderful cheese? Handmade aioli? Nope. Overpriced and average burger as well. 3. In general, the waiter did a bad job, by not being attentive to our needs such as not bringing out water or cleaning our table or asking what else was required. 4. The waiter and onsite manager knew we were unhappy, and showed poor professionalism by not considering that this was a special occasion, Mother's Day, for us.. On the plus side: 5. The Brussel sprouts and bread are good. I do give them that. 6. They gave us $10 off the dessert, but for my palate, it was sickly sweet. My guest thought it was reasonable. Although the onsite manager gave us the $10 dessert, I don't think she understood how this was a special occasion that was ruined by the Chef and Manager's poor planning and service. The question is: Would they want all this to happen to them for Mother's Day. I complained to the Chef and owner, Sean, who was defensive, unsympathetic, and only offered drinks to come back. I tried several times, but he lacks customer service orientation and is generally very stubborn and has an over inflated view of his food. There was no sense of taking personal responsibility or ownership for the problems, such as poor planning and poor service and poor training. Sean also has problems with knowing how important special occasions are for people and making things right with people. In short, his values reflect greed, as he would rather put money above relationships. Food here is overpriced and generally not very good. (Perhaps, it was a busy day, but it's still part of professionalism to plan and adjust for such times. Absolutely, not recommended. Save your money and go somewhere else. Paul"

Food was great! There were four of us and we were all very happy..even the vegetarian. The owners formerly owned Firefly in South Pasadena. A nice variety in the wine list too.

Good food. Good wine selection. Nice patio in good weather. Service was prompt and attentive. Limited parking. Park across the street. The side streets are narrow and posted. We'll be back.

Charming and intimate. Delicious food. Off a main road so outdoor seating is subject to the traffic noise but shortly after it all becomes white noise and you end up enjoying being outdoors. Pretty small parking lot.

This place does wonders everytime I visit it.I love vibes, I love amazing quality food, I love alcohol, and I freaking love amazing service. Sadly didn't make a reservation but no worries I was not going to leave empty handed. They gave us an amazing bar experience. We had an amazing bartender, thank you to the staff for keeping us entertained and taking us on a food journey. This place hit all the right spots. JUST GO AND EXPERIENCE THIS! View menu

Backyard seating was cozy and the patio heaters were appreciated on a chilly October night. The Brussels sprouts appetizer and the chicken liver mousse were scrumptious. Steak frites came out with a perfectly medium rare tender steak, and the squash risotto had a perfect amount of sage in it. The wine list was thoughtful and my only regret is that I couldn't convince the rest of the party to agree to a bread pudding for dessert. I'll be back to remedy that.

To Little Beast we went, for my love’s birthday, To a cozy lil feast, we found our way, Incredible food, unique cocktails too, I loved it all, and so will you. Crocodile's tears, I had to try, And an elderflower gimlet, indeed caught my eye, Delicious and unique, they did not disappoint, To try as much as we could, we made it a point. Roasted mushroom and black truffle risotto, And other dishes, we couldn't say no, Every bite, a burst of flavor, An adventure for our taste buds, we did deeply savor. Little Beast, oh how you impressed, Our dining experience, you truly blessed, Cozy and intimate, a place I now adore, For my love's birthday we came, but we’ll be back for more.

Parking is a bit dicey. We got there fairly early and found plenty of street parking but when we left it was pretty scarce. No reservation and we were seated immediately, but again we came early so YMMV. Ordered the Grilled Pork Chop with pear mostarda (absolutely delicious 5 , Toasted Garlic Parsley Fries with a quite spicy ranch (I loved it but my spouse found it too spicy, 4 , and Crispy Brussel Sprouts (we both enjoyed the complex but delicious sauce 4.5 . Service was attentive but not overly so. I originally thought the menu was a bit pricey but I changed my mind after seeing the generous portions in my opinion a good value. We're likely to come back to explore more of the menu. View menu

My husband and I had high hopes for this place. Because we travel a lot, we get to experience lots of different kind of foods which makes us tough critics. Although little beast had an array of choices, it left us wanting more out of the dishes. The bread with chili butter was tasty, but the bread was nothing spectacular. We also got the buttermilk biscuit chef board. That was just OK, too. It felt a little unbalanced with a dominance in fatty components. I honestly expected the mustard spread to have more of a punch. As for the pasta dishes (sausage pasta and mushroom), we also felt that they were lacking that punchy flavor. The mushrooms in the one dish lacked flavor. Although everyone was...

We just love this place! It was our go to neighborhood restaurant when we lived in Glendale. We ordered carryout during the pandemic (fried chicken and such) and now we are coming back in for a great meal all the way from Ventura County. Little Beast never disappoints! I loved my hibiscus margarita and basil martini! The cheese and charcuterie duo was ridiculous every little morsel was packed with an interesting flavor very well thought out! The chicken liver mousse with cranberry jelle was literally the best I've ever had. Even the bread plate was stellar chili butter!?! This is the first time I didn't order the house made olives (they are always amazing) because we ordered so much else! En...

"I never leave bad reviews when I can help, but from our experience last night I only had to say for dinner as a whole was so disappointing, the least and after the output it was just a complete bill. if they come here for a nice dinner, they have great food or steaks please skip. go somewhere else food: we ordered the oysters, lobster bisque, bread basket (the btw is) and the tomahawk steak with sides. the entire meal was nothing special, characterized by the fact that even though our server always say that its just come out of the often his hot we have the broth basket roomtemp and the lobster bisque as a think. none of them were served hot. I give these stars only because of the tomahawk steak in the middle well, it was delicious. it was a hope that it would be good, right? we ordered the familiar and the brussels sprouts, but it came out, served on small dust sacks. small portions. a little taste. Note: they no longer serve the special measurable and sauce for any steak order. bummer ambiance service: la boucherie is on the floor of the hotel so that the prospects in the night are amazing. server were nice and polite. they were attentive and very professional. everything in all, if I can turn back the time, I wouldn't be here at all. the evening has lost its elegance and prices do not justify the disappointing food. I hope they can fix this and bring back the old la boucherie charme and aromen."
