"In Havre for a few hours during an extended drive (camping across the country). I needed two things: library time for wifi and lunch. Library just around the corner was great. The Lunch Box for lunch. My standard is a BLT and a cup of coffee. LB's BLT was good: thick sliced bread with slabs of bacon and a healthy dose of mayo. Getting fresh produce is not always easy in the middle-of-nowhere Montana, so my expectations for the lettuce and tomato were modest. The coffee was great. I got a fresh-baked cookie on the way out. The staff was attentive and kind. Thumbs up for the Lunch Box!"

I was looking forward to trying this place, but I was disappointed when I arrived. They advertised being open until 3 PM, but I was turned away at 2 PM because they had already turned off the grill an hour and a half early. If you claim to be open until 3, then you should actually stay open until that time before shutting down. I traveled all the way from Shelby for nothing. Thanks, guys.

If you want a great sandwich and terrific friendly service, then go to the Lunch Box. I have never been disappointed by any of their sandwiches and it may take me years to work my way through their menu. Every sandwich I try becomes my new favorite. The service is great with a friendly knowledgeable staff who also eats at the Lunch Box so they will honestly share their opinions with you. It goes along way with me when restaurant staff want to eat their own food. You won't be disappointed.
