"we had a party of 23 and restaurant used a new server despite reservation made 24 hours in advance. Eat took forever to receive and after that we had to wait an additional 1 hour while the server tried to design bill, although they advised at the arrival that controls would be separate if possible and offer divided into 3 or 4 tabs. server also twice, individually, each one of us asked what we had ordered “so far”, so it is unclear what the confusion was about. Finally I approached the bartender who was not busy, as no one was at the bar and wanted to ask him if he could help to shut down our controls. bartender was rude, acting as if I were inappropriate, and accused me of producing the time we had waited for our controls. then he told me he would guarantee that it will be solved within 10 minutes. After waiting exactly 10 minutes without resolving, I followed with barkeeper, at which time he had accused me of lying about 10 minutes after I passed (9:44 pm-9:54 pm for a 7 oclcok reservation.) our party was not in a position to go well on a week after 10 pm. very, very bad experience, would not go back. Live music was great and the two artists were very friendly. FYI name has changed to hickory hops."

Went for fathers day brunch. Menu is huge and they had a brunch menu. The food was good, nothing to write home about but good. The restaurant was empty which was strange. The area would suggest that it would be busier. Perhaps they should work on a smaller menu and focus on what they do well.

that's not lyndale tap house anymore. completely different menu that was not what I was happy to eat. Cheese curds and soft pretzel sticks took an hour to get to our table. the waitress seemed young and not very good at solving the problems. I never saw a young couple a waiter after 15-20 min. they have gone out. not the best experience.

that is a good piece house no longer exists under this name! management has changed the name in hickory hops about a month and half an hour ago! Eating was in order and beer was not super cold, but service was great, as this place had about 6 people in this restaurant! management must show that they had a name change and put it in open table groupon! There was only 1 other large group when my wife and I arrived and they sat us right next to them so the noise level was so loud we had to yell to talk to each other. Food was good but not great. My special was average buy my wife's Thai Dragon pit sandwich was very good. Ticked me off that they cancelled my reservation, I'm assuming because it was so empty that I didn't need it. I had to contact OpenTable to get credit for my reservation.

used to love lyndale taphouse, but the last two males were very subduing. during the Saturday visit our waitress was differentiated and seemed more interested in cleaning windows than excellent customer service. one saw a man waiting on the sign who said, "Please wait for a few minutes to sit" before he finally asked a bartender if he could sit outside with his group. the waitress heard it about and when the man went out, he fled behind his back and complained to hear for everyone according to the bartender.
