"Delicious cakes! You can easily place a special order, but even if you just drop by, their ready-to-purchase cakes are incredible! I've picked them up for various occasions, and they've never let me down: the chocolate raspberry cake, cannoli cake, raspberry lace cake, and more. Their other desserts are delightful as well! Be sure to try their breads and rolls—they're just as fantastic."

Absolutely the best donuts and bread around! The meat market has a charming, no-frills vibe that reminds me of markets in northern Michigan, but the quality is exceptional. Enjoy!

Delicious baked goods and outstanding meat options. They feature local specialties and unique items like pasties. My personal favorite is the custard éclair. Definitely worth a visit!

This place saved my life! Our bakery closed 3 weeks before our wedding and they ended up doing our cake. I can’t even tell you how gorgeous and delicious this cake turned out. A huge thank you to Marv’s bakery for a beautiful job! View menu

Excellent old-fashioned bakery, the best in the area hands-down. In addition to great donuts, their pastries are outstanding; the tea ring (and similar, bear-claw style almond pastry) are favorites, as is their tasty cheese danish.

I’ve never had such incredible pumpkin pie in all of my life. Just heavenly! That being said, a couple of the older female staff are incredibly cold/burnt out/mean the few times I’ve been in. I hear them make rude comments about the busyness/customers and be snappy/unpleasant at check out.

3 stars for the donuts being above average but still below my standard of the South Lyon bakery. 2 stars off for saying free coffee with purchase, that's only if there's coffee left usually it's out and from the few times I've been there they're not great about keeping it full. Go figure it's free?? View menu

Safety FYI-if you buy your meat here.... I purchased 3 lbs. ground sirloin and 2 lbs. ground round. As I began browning it for lasagna, I smelled a very foul, feces like, stench. I called to let owner/manager know. They offered to accept return, but just grossed out beyond- I'll never go in there again.

Amazing donuts and pastries, free coffee, and a meat/deli side! I'm obsessed with the Cruellers!!Prices are really good for around here, but know your stuff because they can be very short with you if you ask questions.Edit: prices went up and I'm gonna just remove a star everytime the lady is rude to me in there. The only reason they will lose service, is her attitude.

"I haven't been to a Heidi's in years and I was so excited when I found out there was still a location in Brighton. The food is just as good as I remembered. I got the Country Egg Salad on Sourdough and added Cheddar cheese. It's a good size sandwich and it was very filling. The egg salad was plentiful and well seasoned. The side of coleslaw was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing and the pickle was cold and garlicky which is my favorite way to have pickles. I also got a Blueberry Hand Pie which I've never had from Heidi's before and it was absolutely delicious. The crust on the hand pie was flaky and buttery and the blueberry filling was not too sweet and appeared to be homemade with fresh blueberries which was a nice touch. I'm a big fan of their fresh ingredients and large portions. The service was alright and although it took a few minutes for the staff to realize I was there (it wasn't very busy when I stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday), the two women working behind the counter were very friendly and I got my food very quickly. The ambiance was alright but most of the tables were dirty with crumbs and other spilled food so I had to wipe down my table and chair before sitting down. Also the prices were a bit high and I paid almost $19 for one sandwich and the hand pie no drink or chips. I really hope to be back to this location sometime soon and I hope they don't close this location like they did to the one in Parker."
