Nothing fancy, just good BBQ. Has an outdoor pavilion which has musical events on the weekends. Always take out-of-towners there for a taste of real Texas BBQ.

I could see going in this place is quite different from what I'm used to. The food was ok and the service was fast. It was a heat alert day and it wasn't very cool inside. I saw flies that probably came in through the open seating area just outside the building. The floor near the register seems greasy so be careful.

Food was great! Big portions. Service pretty good. Overall great experience. Wish they'd get A/C inside but there's something about sweating while eating BBQ that goes with the experience. Great staff! All were very welcoming. They explained the order process and food was amazing! I had turkey sandwich husband had Frito pie. Best he and I have ever had! BBQ is phenomenal, I got the pulled pork and the potato salad for lunch. I like the ordering with the sheet and you show the pit master what you want. All prepped right in front of you. Service was great, the owner made me feel extremely welcome, I’m from out of town. Best BBQ I've had so far in Texas. Coming from Houston, it's a shame we aren't too close to come by as often but hopefully that changes. Looking forward to the next time we pass by this area since we'll definitely make a stop here! This place is a little hidden gem. We randomly stop in on a trip and weren’t disappointed! My husband and I tried 3 different meats that they served and couldn’t pick a favorite (and my husband is pretty picky when it comes to BBQ). The staff was equally friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop!
