"This morning I had ordered a big amount of food for my family of 5. We were on our way out of town and the service her was below standard. The morning manager on shift was incompetent. After waiting for close to 30 min, I asked where our food was. After a few minutes I was informed they had run out of biscuits. Instead of informing us and asking if we wanted to substitute, our food was just left under the warmer. I had asked to speak to the manager, which she sent an employee to talk to me and brushed me off. I recommend you put a manager there that believes in customer service. I would like to say that Renee did a great job handling the situation. I kept reassuring her the issue was not her fault. You could tell she was flustered with the situation. I will not be recommending this location to anyone or returning unless the customer service changes. I had to ask for a refund and take my kids elsewhere to get breakfast before our trip.V/RDisgruntled Customer"

The front-of-house service was very disappointing. The staff was rude and seemed uninterested. Two elderly customers who arrived after me were left ignored for about 10 to 15 minutes while the cashier stepped outside to chat with friends.

The food was typical McDonald's fare, but the staff was quite rude, which was unfortunately not surprising. We were asked to pull into a parking space with the promise that someone would bring our food to us—this seems to be the frustrating new norm at many locations. It allows them to inflate their statistics and claim they're getting customers through the drive-thru quickly, but that certainly wasn't our experience. We ordered three Egg McMuffins, and it took so long to prepare that we ended up waiting in the parking lot for 10 minutes. If we wanted to sit and eat, we would have gone inside. People use the drive-thru for convenience, not to sit in a parking lot. This just started happening...

After around ten minutes, a young woman with red hair came over and asked if I was still waiting for drinks. I responded yes, and she said she would go make them. Another ten minutes passed before she returned with one iced coffee and a hot coffee (I had ordered a frappe). I politely pointed out my mistake, explaining that I had ordered a frappe, not a hot coffee. Instead of apologizing, she started to argue with me, insisting I was wrong. At that point, I just wanted to leave, so I told her it was fine and asked if she could at least get me the Coke we ordered, or a cup so I could do it myself. "This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered 2 seafood plates and a 10 piece buffalo chicken wings plate. The seafood plates consisted of shrimp, oysters and deviled crab. The shrimp was wayyy too salty and we wasn't able to eat it. The buffalo wings were NOT BUFFALO at all, they were just regular fried wings. I spent $42.15. I was totally disappointed. It was a waste of time and money."

"Tarpackers is a quaint restaurant that, constructively, could use much inside renovations. This appears to be the lack of upkeep over many years. Aside from this necessity, the restaurant was clean and my meal was super delicious even thoughthe wait was unusually long even with few people dining in. I think maybe one chef was on duty and has to accommodate several to-go orders. The chef 's preparation and presentation of our meals made the wait worthwhile. Now, I think if the kitchenmechanics are not upgraded and not restored as the dining area, surely the chef has to be dealing with insurmountable challenges TOTALLY out of their control. I plan to return especially when time and appearance is not an issue; a little bit ofpaint, floor and bathroom restorations will work wonders for Tarpackers. The service, the food and presentation wasOUTSTANDING in an excellent way! If customer services, cleanliness and pride cooking is most desired by you as is me, this isthe place to dine! Just writing about my experiences arouses my return in spite of their urgent need for a good, localhandyman. SPECIAL NOTE: All of the above is on a big positive scale; the customers are worth it! "Their pizzas are incredible; true New York-style! The pastas are amazing too, especially the Alfredo, which is my personal favorite, and I'm quite picky about Alfredo. It's homemade and there's enough for two people to share, along with generous portions of chicken! We've also tried their subs and burgers, all of which were great. This is definitely a place you don't want to miss. It’s a locally-owned family business with friendly staff, from the lady who takes your order on the phone and cooks, to the gentleman who handles the checkout. Overall, it's a wonderful experience! They currently don't have indoor dining due to remodeling, but that hasn't affected the quality of the food. I still try to order from them one to two times a week!"

"Go to Hardees in St. Pauls, NC almost every morning. In the last two weeks I have had to take my order back twice. The first time bacon egg was so hard and burnt I couldn't eat it. The second time which was this morning I paid for bacon egg and got grits. Management is awful and they was a car parked at the door and people couldn't get out of drive thru and no one ask him to move. Had to back out of drive thru and go in. They have lost my business!"

"I called and ordered cheese grits, an omlet w/onion and cheese and the total was almost 14.00. The omelet was so small it had to be 1 egg that they fluffed to death. It was greasy with burnt pieces of union in it. The cook did make it over but I was so disappointed. I only have 30 mins for lunch so going someplace else wasn't an option . The place needs an upgrade. The dining room tables and chairs are worn out, and the place is just overall dirty. The young lady who assisted me was really nice, but she knew I was very dissatisfied with portion size and pricing. She kept apologizing. A 2 egg breakfast at waffle house is much cheaper with way more food. The employees all stood around bashing another employee in front of me and my coworker. This wasn't it. I definitely left feeling ripped off."
