"We made dinner reservations for 5:30 on Friday evening before attending the Ron White Show at the Casino Ballroom. I appreciated that McGuirk’s offered reservations on OpenTable, making it easy to enjoy dinner in this charming East Coast beach town. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and seated at a table with a lovely view of the beach and boardwalk activity. Our drink orders were taken just minutes after we sat down, and once our drinks—beer, wine, and cocktails—arrived, we placed our food order. We decided on burgers and a chicken sandwich, saving the lobster roll for another visit. The burgers were flavorful, and the chicken sandwich was good as well. If you're expecting a Michelin-star experience, you may be let down, but if you're looking for a casual spot to enjoy a good meal suitable for all ages, I highly recommend stopping by McGuirk’s for a drink and a sandwich. Overall, it's a nice little seaside pub with a great view. Would I return? Absolutely!"

Food was ok but menu was extremely limited! A lot different than the old McQuirks. I won’t be back due to the limited food options!

We just had the most incredible breakfast here! The chocolate chip pancakes, breakfast burrito, and scrambled eggs with corned beef were absolutely delicious!

It’s never a miss at McGuirk’s. The food is fabulous and priced reasonably. The staff is cheerful, helpful and professional. Sit inside or out. We ate inside then to the outside for a couple of cocktails. Great time…ALWAYS!

I tried the Caprese salad for $16, but the tomato was under ripe and the portion size was small. The chicken skewers and tips were $26; the chicken was good, but the beef was just average. The American burger came without any condiments, though it was cooked to my liking. The side Caesar salad was nothing special, and the broccoli didn’t seem very fresh.

I would recommend McGuirk to anyone who ever asked where to eat at Hampton Beach. We went for lunch and had the Baked Stuffed Haddock. It was the best I cost for a long time. We had such a good lunch that we came to dinner the night. For dinner we had the summer salad with Lobster and the Clam Chowder. Everything was super boiled, perfectly seasoned and looked amazing. Thank you for everything!

they set us right away, but we waited 45 minutes until I finally grabbed a waitress for drinks. we ordered to eat at the same time. after an hour and 30 minutes and after another waitress for drinks refills we finally got our food. it was very mediocre. we have three apps and one of our friends has got her to eat. after almost 2 and a half hours, our other friend had not received her meal so that she had canceled her order. they gave us a hard time to take it out of the bill. our waitress also spent most of the time on her handy and avoid us like the plague. We made a reservation and were seated promptly, but then we waited 45 minutes before I had to go find a waitress to order drinks. We placed our food order at the same time. After an hour and a half of waiting and having to ask another waitress for drink refills, we finally received our meals. Unfortunately, they were only mediocre. We ordered three appetizers, and one of our friends received her entrée. After nearly two and a half hours, our other friend still hadn’t received her meal, so she decided to cancel her order. We faced some resistance when trying to have it removed from the bill. Additionally, our waitress seemed more focused on her phone than on attending to us.

dinner reservations for 5:30 on Friday night before we go to the ron white show at the casino ballroom. I was happy that mcguirks was on an open table to make use of a reservation in this fun small east coast beach town. we were greeted and immediately brought to our table with views of the beach and activities on the boardwalk. our drink order was occupied with a few minutes and once drinks (beer, wein and cocktails) were served our order. we ordered burger and a chicken sandwich that saves a lobster roll for another time. our burgers were delicious, and the chicken sandwich was good. if they expect a Michelin star restaurant, they will be disappointed, but if they are looking for a place t...

"Yesterday, my sisters treated me to Brunch for my birthday at Venture, where I had previously eaten at for lunch and had fond memories of (pre-pandemic). Unfortunately, it's changed, and not necessarily for the better in my view. I remember it as being a farm-to-table gem, where you could find innovative and healthy options as a regular thing. Maybe you still can achieve those but just not at Brunch on a Sunday. I first thought I'd get the Cherries Jubilee French Toast; but upon finding out from our server that the cherries were going to be the consistency of cherry pie filling I searched for something I hoped would be healthy. I picked from the regular Brunch menu the King's Plate because I figured the root vegetable hash would offer some tasty and relatively healthy ingredients. The flavors of the root vegetables were sadly overpowered by the excessive garlic in the heavy sausage gravy. The homemade biscuit was a perfect accompaniment, however. It just would've been nice to have some fresh fruit served with it. There was nothing on the regular or particular Sunday Brunch specials menu to recommend it for a 2nd try. I may give regular lunch another try. Or I may go somewhere I'm more confident of getting a healthy, fresh, reasonably priced meal. The service was great, and as always, I tipped our server of her effort, not my satisfaction with the food. There's great potential at Venture, and I always remembered it as being a great destination restaurant- one you'll drive more than the usual miles to get to- but it needs some work to recreate a more universally enticing menu."
