"omlet. my mother ordered a cheese omlet for breakfast. after waiting for getting to eat for ever (not busy and how long does it take to cook an omlet, we started eating. first she thought the cheese melted out, then we realized that it was the omlet that was not cooked in the middle. we called the waitress over and she looked out and went away (no excuse) then came back a few minutes later from the kitchen and asked if we wanted it to be set back longer! wth on the price and wait for them at least the damn thing can be cooked and as my mother said that she was no longer hungry to think of the tragedy omlet, the maid brought the shook without going off. we had to ask the manager who...read more"

Omelettes are their best item. Waitstaff keeps you guessing...sometimes theyre on point other times not. Weekends are typically very busy and you wait for poor service...and the check. Go on a weekday.

A Rhode Island culinary landmark. Miss Cranston Diner, a Rhode Island culinary landmark, has been serving up delicious diner staples since the Truman Administration (circa A note of caution regarding their pancakes is in order: they're HUGE! Two buttermilk pancakes is more than sufficient for a hearty breakfast, lunch, or dinner. View menu

so rude. I called the owner of this facility to try to get in touch with the previous owner about the upcoming dead of my mother, and the current owner was extremely rude, would not pass on any message, demanded that my father and I go to the diner to speak with him, and hanged on us. I will never go to this establishment, simply because of the terrible unrest and uncontrollable.

Outstanding. The meatball sandwich is to die for. Excellent hamburgers. Manhattan clam chowder is the best i've ever had. Everything made from scratch. And you can't beat a toasted bun, slathered in butter, hot off the grill. Of course that's when I worked and ate there in for the original owners: Pete, Lou and Joe. But I bet it's still great. I'd go back if I didn't live in Atlanta.

Say NO to Diane!!. My Fiance` and I love this place. We're both in the hotel industry and know what customer service is. The waitress Diane is TERRIBLE!! We had to get up to get our own straws, wait for minutes before she would glance at us, ask for a serving of coffee (most wait staff keep an eye on the coffee and come periodically for a refill), plus on top of that she had the nerve to take from our table because she was running low on another table!! Seriously, someone please give her a lesson in etiquettes! Needless to say we did not leave any TIP for her although we wish we could leave a tip for the chef since the food was awesome! Great job Chef!

bathroom service. for the first time on Saturday morning with my daughter to the diner. the waitress came by and she made me feel like she had done me a favor. she was not a pleasant person. when she returned to order to take it, she had the same attitude. the food came out and she just dropped it on the table and went away, about minutes went by and there was no sign of her. I asked another waitress for more coffee and she looked at me as if I had heads. she went more times from me and the coffee pot was about to feet from me. then I asked a busboy for coffee and he just took the pot, I saw the waitress and she saw him do and then waited a minute and brought...read more
