"Let me start by saying the food here is delicious, especially for the price, however I have a few MAJOR complaints about service. When I placed my order, I confirmed with hostess that my Gyro Plate came with feta, arrived without feta. Asked for a side of ranch. Missing. Fries were cold as ice while the rest of the food was warm. Also ordered two things of baklava, missing as well. When I called to complain about the order, the hostess explained that it is up to the CUSTOMER to grab the baklava from the fridge themselves. No one told me, when she saw it on the order and took the order herself. Not even set aside or paired with the food, just “you’re supposed to get it yourself.” Yes because I knew that... like I’m going to open the sealed bag and check every single item. Was not about to drive the 30 minutes there-and-back home to pick them up. Her only restitution was continuously saying “I’m sorry about that, you can grab two the next time you come into the store.” Very underwhelming and I felt like she was blaming me for something I was unaware of and didn’t really offer a fair exchange for the multiple problems with my order. Cherry on top—watched the cooks in back stick the rib tips in the microwave. So the ones that ended up in my order were probably microwaved too. Not happy about that. I don’t think I’ll be getting food from here anytime soon, and if you do, make sure you check your order before you leave and don’t forget to grab the Baklava yourself because that’s YOUR JOB even though it’s on your order that they are supposed to prepare for you."

The best sand you can find, not just in all of Michigan, but possibly beyond.

We've been ordering from this restaurant for years and absolutely love their circus dish and chip fries. The prices are very reasonable, too.

The restaurant offers an extensive menu with very reasonable prices. The French fries are seasoned with a delightful seasonal salt. The establishment has a convenient take-out option, and the restrooms were consistently clean. The staff was always friendly and helpful. It's one of my favorite places to have lunch. View menu

I really enjoy dining out. The tzatziki here has to be fresh and homemade because the cucumbers were a bit too ripe for my taste today. But they don’t seem to mind! If you’re craving gyros or baklava, this is the place to go. If not, you can always explore their extensive menu, which is enormous! It could almost be included in a summer reading program for kids. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I don't know how it's possible for the cooks to serve me Tom Tom tamales drier then a bone?? They were so stuck to the wrapper...I threw them away and they definitely need to up their Italian beef game. I'm from Chicago I wouldn't call anything on their menu Chicago style. Only thing my family liked was the shish kabob. I ordered multiple food items and for real only thing good was the kabobs. I feel bad I'm sure the owners are hard workers and do all they can to keep the business running... but it seems they left for the day and food went downhill from there I'm being generous with the second . If I'm ever in St. Joe again I hope they do a better job so I can change it to 5 stars.

"We recently visited St. Joe and were on the lookout for vegan options, and this restaurant was one of the few that had a dedicated vegan menu. Firstly, the positives: the staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We really enjoyed the vibe, which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. Now, onto the less favorable aspects. Although the restaurant has a vegan menu, I was surprised to find out that they don’t offer any plant-based milk for coffee. This felt quite unusual since even many of my meat-eating friends prefer plant milk in their coffee nowadays; it’s rare to come across a place that only serves dairy options in 2022. As for the food, we tried the vegan shepherd’s pie and the vegan curry, along with split pea soup and hummus with pita as sides. Unfortunately, I had to send the shepherd’s pie back to the kitchen because it was cold in the middle. While I enjoyed the split pea soup and found the curry quite nice, the rice that accompanied the curry was dry, and the pita served with the hummus was also cold, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food just didn’t quite hit the mark. Perhaps it’s because we come from an area with a wide variety of vegan choices, but despite arriving hungry, we ended up leaving more than half of our meal untouched. I usually finish my plate, but this time we didn’t even ask for a box to take our leftovers back to the Airbnb. In summary, the staff and atmosphere were wonderful, but the vegan food leaves room for improvement. I also strongly suggest they start offering plant-based milks for coffee."

"We arrived shortly after 7 p.m. and immediately overheard one of the staff engaged in a conversation filled with extremely foul language, which was quite off-putting for a first impression of a restaurant. After a few minutes, we were finally seated, but then we felt completely forgotten. It took over 40 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink order, and we quickly decided to order our food at the same time. The wait for our food was equally long, taking another 35 to 40 minutes. I ordered the Simon sandwich with french fries. Unfortunately, it was drenched in so much barbecue sauce that it soaked through the bread and made it nearly impossible to enjoy. The roast beef was stringy and tough; every bite resulted in half the filling falling out, making it hard to chew. In the past, I have ordered that sandwich dozens of times and always considered it one of the best in St. Joseph, but tonight it was barely edible. I ended up leaving a quarter of the sandwich and quite a few of the french fries on my plate. The fries were overly greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. After we placed our food order, we didn't see our waitress again, so there were no drink refills, and we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. This was certainly not the experience I wanted my friend to have at a restaurant I used to cherish. I have no plans to return anytime soon."
