"I really want to like this place, but I feel that there is a lack of love in the cooking and ingredients. The macaroni is overcooked and the baked ziti lacks ricotta. The chicken parm hero is the standout dish (even though there could be more chicken), but I believe that small improvements in quality could greatly enhance the overall experience. The sauce should be sweeter and less spicy and tangy. As an Italian and a tough critic, these are just suggestions for improvement, not meant to be taken to heart. New Pizza On The Block is our absolute go to for neighborhood pizza! The price is right, the pizza is delish, the staff is wonderful and the penne vodka is the best around! We order from here at least twice/month!

This family-owned restaurant located in a real neighborhood is a great place to eat. The pizza is delicious and the hospitality is top-notch. You can always expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After many years of patronage, it feels less like a customer relationship and more like a bond.

for 20 years I have pizza here. the owner sold the business to one of his protégés, who came from san salvador. pizza is equal. great service. like old days. we have dimmed in which the pandemic is common. this is west new york and of course parking is a problem. that has not changed either. A neighborhood pizzeria that you can depend on. Not the most gourmet of cuisines, but you'll get a good price on some good food with a generous portion. Best pizza in the neighborhood, great pasta, great prices, and fast service. Avoid the grilled chicken salad, and don't try to get fancy with the requests.

The main cook, a bald-headed man who appears to be the owner or manager, is incredibly unfriendly and unwelcoming at this restaurant. He is consistently rude and grumpy, making it difficult for customers to enjoy their meal.
