"I don’t know what’s going on with this J&P location but it is vastly different than the one in Mount Airy. I went here last week and got a pepperoni and pineapple pizza it wasn’t really cooked all of the way. And the cheese seemed watery? Very little pepperoni vs pineapple. This pizza had little to no taste which was disappointing. When I go to Mt Airy, it is always perfectly made. The standards must be different in spring ridge.I decided to give this location another try because I absolutely love J&P Pizza. I got a pepperoni pizza and a sausage pizza. The toppings were haphazardly thrown on the pizza and it was EXTREMELY greasy as you can see in the photo. The cheese slid right off the pizza and it was very wet from the grease. The sausage pizza was the same. Greasy and sausage was slapped on without care.Very disappointed in this location of J&P, I hope this changes…"

The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly, and the service is remarkably attentive! The chicken piccata is outstanding! I've tried pizza at many different places, but this one is the closest I've found to authentic New York pizza in Maryland, without a doubt! During the past two years, I have ordered pizza and a variety of Italian dishes from this restaurant, and I've never been let down. Recently, I had a craving for a Philly Cheesesteak, so I decided to try their Italian version, which includes provolone, hot and sweet peppers, and roasted onions. I was genuinely impressed—it was as if I had traveled all the way to Philly for it! I still have yet to try their sit-down menu, but I definitely intend to do so in the future. View menu

I used to go to J&P’s quite a few times! It was always so so! But I stopped going there because one time when I went there and had breakfast I cut into my omelette, and the cheese wasn’t melted. In fact, it was so hard you couldn’t eat it! It was extremely old!!! This is probably why they stopped serving breakfast!!! If you can’t make breakfast the right way, what else can’t you do? Pizza is always soggy stopped ordering pizzas!!! It is really sad Iwish I could say this place was fantastic because I live very close to it and it would be nice to be able to go to a place that is so close! But I can’t stomach the food anymore!!!I won’t be surprised if they Go out of business!

Okay, J&P needs to get a handle on their bar if they want people to dine in their restaurant. We went for dinner yesterday evening around 6-7 and it was not a pleasant experience due to the very high level of noise coming from the bar. It was impossible to have a relaxing dinner with conversation. And that was very disappointing, because the food was pretty good, as was the service. But there's just no way I'm going to be back to dine in until something is done about the bar noise. There's just no reason why we should have to listen to aging bros yuck it up at the bar while trying to enjoy a nice meal. And this isn't an isolated case, as it's been like that the last several times we've been...
