"Then the food arrived. The fried shrimp were so delicious that even my picky 4-year-old, who's usually all about chicken nuggets and fries, polished off the plate! The halibut was great, and my husband said the striped bass was the best he had enjoyed in a long time. When dessert came, we thought we couldn't possibly eat another bite, but we had to try the fried ice cream. It was worth every penny! My husband ordered a sugar-free ice cream that he wished he could have seconds of! Last but not least, we had the pleasure of being served by our waiter Fabian. He was incredibly efficient and almost seemed magical; we were just thinking about fried ice cream, and there it was! He was also very kind to our family. His thoughtful service truly made our evening, and if I could, I would give him 10 stars!"

Precious 50’s time warp with good burgers, malteds, soda shop fare, and a classic jukebox soundtrack. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices reasonable for the peninsula. Wonderful decor, plenty of seating at the soda bar, booths or outdoors on deck with water views.

We went to another restaurant in the city with our family, but they wouldn't serve our group of 11 for lunch. We were so pleased after coming here! The service was excellent, and the food was fresh and delicious. If you visit, be sure to try the Habanero sauce with your fries or burgers! We will definitely be coming back! View menu

My party of three sat on the terrace with my dog. The service was quick and friendly, and all the food was delicious. I also tried a raspberry shake that was fantastic! I only needed to go inside briefly since I had my dog, but the atmosphere looked inviting and cheerful. Sitting outside was very relaxing after a long walk. I will definitely return when I visit Port Townsend!

"My wife and I stopped by this place after having it recommended to us by a friend. Unfortunately, our experience was less than ideal. We arrived at the end of breakfast as they were transitioning into lunch, so we were understandably asked to wait 20-30 minutes and enjoy a beverage while we waited. We decided this was acceptable and we took a seat. It ended up taking at least 15 minutes to get waters delivered and then another 15 minutes to get menus. Once we ordered, it took another 15 minutes to receive our food. With other things like waiting to be seated and waiting to place our order, it took approximately an hour before we ate. We also noticed that other tables who had arrived far after us were served first. When the food arrived, my wife's fried chicken burger was somewhat small and the potato salad side was bland and had hard potatoes. My Manila clam lunch special was fine, but for a lunch meal, it felt like there were fewer clams than in an appetizer version of this dish that I've had at many other places. During our meal, we were never checked on by the waitress, nor offered refills (despite her walking by us with the water pitcher), and we generally felt dismissed despite several attempts at eye contact. We also overheard other customers commenting about the small portion sizes. Overall, the food was not bad, but the service could use improvement. Other patrons seemed to be more willingly catered to, so we are not sure if our disparate treatment was because we are not locals or for other reasons."
