"I hadn’t been there in a while and, frankly, was a little wary. I feared it might be resting on its laurels. An icon, not really a restaurant. Man, was I wrong. This is as good a restaurant of its kind in New York, and I say that as a native Manhattanite and as someone who has been to and enjoyed all of the more celebrated and trendy names that serve similar dishes. The various steaks, especially the ribeye, were extraordinary (right word). Everyone in our foodie group of eight felt that way, and we felt the same about the asparagus—cooked expertly—the cream spinach and the potatoes. Just a great night that wasn’t overpriced. We will all be regulars there. Bravo to the service, too. Lone qualms: They need to add some better medium-priced wines to their list. It’s just too ordinary. We brought three bottles of our own—each was excellent and ran around $25 per—and paid the hefty $45 per bottle corking fee and it was worth it. And they need to offer full cakes for celebrations. We brought a small birthday cake from Whole Foods (delicious) and paid the $10 per plate fee. However, if they had been able to tell me they had a cake that they could do with writing for, say, $125 or a little more (ours worked out to $105), I would have happily said yes. We needed a full cake. Individual pieces wouldn’t have made it. Small stuff. Here’s to an icon that’s also a great restaurant."

We visited Oscar's for breakfast and had the buffet. The service was great; all staff member were very friendly and helpful. The coffee was really good and there was a juice bar with plenty of options. The food was really good and there were plenty of options. View menu

Hostess seated us promptly. Breakfast choices are buffet or menu - we ordered off the menu. Healthy choices are noted on the menu and I had the avocado and poached egg on toast. The entree was delivered within 20 minutes and was served hot. The menu prices are commensurate with a Waldorf Astoria but a bit pricey for the Orlando area.

We asked hotel staff if there was a Sunday brunch in the hotel since we had a noon flight and wanted a good breakfast before leaving. We were told no brunch, but breakfast at Oscar's was good. Turns out they have the most wonderful buffet imaginable! Fresh slice procuitto, fresh honey dripping from wax from a hive, made to order omelettes and crepes, tons of fruit and pastry, I could go on, but you get the idea. If I am ever in Orlando again, I will head to Oscar's for their "breakfast".

We had breakfast here this morning while staying at the Waldorf Astoria. The food was exceptional on the buffet with a wide variety of choices. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and sweet. It is my husband's birthday today. I mentioned it when I made reservations. This being a breakfast restaurant, I only expected them to wish my husband a happy birthday. They went above and beyond by bringing out a personal cake with a candle and the words "Happy Birthday" written on the plate in chocolate. What a treat! It is a bit pricey but it is worth every penny! View menu

We were immediately seated with our open table reservation. The food offerings were high quality, with great selection, in a "Waldorf Astoria" setting of elegance. The staff was very personable. In the serving line , I had asked for sugar free syrup, but they said they didn't have any. (odd I thought), so I mentioned it to my server, who promptly smiled and said, ah but I do! and went and brought back a small cup of s/f syrup. I will be going back for my husband's conference in May (coincidentally at the same hotel) and I will definitely be making a reservation...I think I'll do that right now before I forget....

Stuck in Mickey-land for a convention, a group of us were looking for a Sunday brunch spot. Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
