"I love this location and have enjoyed many dinners here. We made this reservation as normally through Open Table, showed up to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday with our party only to find out they are closed. I do not blame the owners but rather the Open Table group. This is not the first time we have had problems with them. How can you confirm a reservation, send reminders and then ask for a recommendation when they are closed? I have not idea if they are closed forever, but this was a very special event and we wanted to go to our favorite location. We did even with the Vires situation and you never told us!"

Food was outstanding, the atmosphere great, service pretty good for a packed house. A real pleasure for sure.

We have visited Old Stone Inn about 4 times. Three of those visits I’ve been unhappy with the quality of my food. The wine is way over priced.

We had dinner with another couple for Valentines Day. The menu was smaller but we all enjoyed our meals especially the blue cheese and pear salad. View menu

Fabulous food with amazing service! Their wine menu is one of the best I’ve seen. I was in town for two nights and we ate dinner here each night. I was not disappointed and plan to return!

It was our first time eating at this establishment. The food was fabulous and the chief coming out to the table was a very personal touch. Our waitress Christi was wonderful. Very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Would definitely recommend this to others and will return again.

enjoy the historical ambiente of the restaurant. we were there for Sunday brunch that had some good and some only so-so offers. the fried chicken was pretty good. the salads were versatile and very tasteful. the chess chest was under, but the filling was good. we go back for regular menu to make a better decision. Enjoy the historic ambiance of the restaurant. We were there for Sunday brunch which had some good and some only so-so offerings. The fried chicken was quite good. The salads were versatile and very flavorful. The chess pie crust was underdone but the filling was good. We will go back for regular menu to make better decision.

I love this situation and enjoyed many dinners here. we have made this reservation as usual by open table, showed us to celebrate the 70th birthday of my wife with our party, just to find out that they are closed. I don't owe the owners, but the open table group. this is not the first time we had problems with them. how can they confirm a reservation, send reminders and then ask for a recommendation when they are closed? I have no idea whether they are closed forever, but that was a very special event and we wanted to go to our favorite place. we even did with the virus situation and you never told us!

"This place has really gone downhill! I used to have breakfast here once a week and at first the food was fairly consistent (I always order the same thing). The last few times I went, which was over the course of several months, the food was AWFUL! I ordered a cinnamon roll that was served still frozen in the center. Customizations we 're ignored. Eggs were raw.. there were issues like these at every visit. But the very last time I visited, every single thing my party ordered was awful. One guest with a dairy allergy was served a dish smothered in sour cream (of course, they ordered it to be dairy free). Before it was even placed on the table, the food runner was made aware that it was made wrong, they apologized, and said they 'd remake it correctly. Several minutes later, they brought out the EXACT same plate of food except most of the sour cream had been scraped off, and from sitting in the back it was now cold. I was appalled! To add insult to injury, another person in the party had ordered a jalapeño cornbread that came out burnt to a crisp. This time, we told the server that it was exceptionally over cooked, which he agreed with, apologized, and said he 'd bring a less well done one . Same scenario this time..a few minutes later, the exact same, burnt to a crisp jalapeño cornbread was reserved to our table. At this point we sent back both dishes and asked to have them removed from the check. Initially the server said they would only to return a moment later saying the manager wouldn 't remove the dishes! The compromise was that we could choose 1 dish off the menu for them to prepare as a to go meal at no additional charge. We stated we just wanted the cost of the inedible food removed, but they firmly refused. When all was said and done, the $25 for food we never even touched remained on our bill. I will never be back!"
