Trevor was wonderful. Watching him make drinks is amazing. Food was good, especially the gorgonzola cheese board. Fettuccine could use a little more zip but my husband did like it more than me. Shrimp was tasty with a little sand in the mussles. We will go back! Thank you.

We had a reservation at 2:30 during the first weekend of the prelude 2023. We got seated right away. We ordered drinks, truffle fingerlings, crispy brussel spouts, chicken meatballs, and a caesar salad. It was split between 3 of us. The food was delicious. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Our waiter was great and knowledgeable. I can't wait to go back.

Service was okay, food was terrible. They did a decent job of making the food look nice… but that’s it. The heirloom tomatoes were soft, burrata came out in a sheet, halibut was overcooked and dry, fettuccine was flavorless, shrimp was overcooked…I mean should I keep going? I don’t know how this place got the rating it currently has but this was a complete waste of $135. We hardly ate, paid the check, waitress didn’t even seem to care that we had barely touched our food. We were two couples for a last minute supper. We appreciated the last minute spot they found for us outside. We ordered cocktails to start with which were fairly ordinary and they forgot the rimmer salt on our margs. My wife ordered wine which took forever to come out. They also sent out the wrong cheese selection we ordered for a starter. After that, the food was quite good, the baked feta was good, the dry rub wings were perfectly cooked but a little bland, the shishto peppers were really good as was the pizza. We went to Old Vines in the summers of 2022 and 2023 and had outstanding experiences fantastic servers, creative food and cocktails executed with care. But our experience this summer was utterly mediocre (we wonder if the prior chef has moved on). The menu was totally uninspired, the cocktails were not what we remembered (although many had the same names), and the food (other than a tasty beet salad) just was not good. What a happy and welcoming place! This is locally very popular, and the locals seem to sit at the bar, but we are not local and felt very well-received. The food is really, really good. The only meh dish was a small plate of seared tune which was overly complicated and a bit short on taste. Everything else was first rate. What was called a small plate of deep-fried artichoke hearts (which also apparently had some fiddleheads included) was tasty and generous.
