"I'm not sure what happened to this place. It was my go to for a good sub which I only do for special days, like fishing or hiking. This is the third and LAST time I'll head there for a while. I've gotten in the boat or found a vista to stop at and opened my sub to find it wasn't what I ordered, overlooked my disappointment and ate at least 1/2. Today I decided to check it before I left as the cashier/order taker seemed confused about my order. Sure enough, my sandwich was drenched in oil and vinegar even though I stated twice that I wanted it with mayo. When it went back to the kitchen she was asked why it was returned. I told her my order and the counter said she never said mayo. The cashier said He never said he wanted mayo while looking me straight in the face. Not this time......."

Went in to p&m deli today starving and craving their sausage and peppers... Paid a little extra but got a delicious packed sub. Couldn't be happier and I probably won't need to eat dinner. Thank you!

Always a nice selection of Gr8 food here in Branford New Haven. If I don't want two cooks to leave me on them, they always make me smile. Both places R clean, prices R reasonable. Worth the journey from everywhere. View menu

Chicken Flag a la P M is the perfect sandwich on hard roll or foccacia and I just have a sandwich and drink for about $10 hit that! Forget the subway! You have many drinks and pastries! I also like the Italian rice ball potato croquette! Service is always fantastic! Your pizza is also great!

Food is very good. The staff is super friendly. You can sit outside or inside when you choose. But there are only two tables. This is one of my quick grab a bite to eat places in the city and bring love to my wife and children because they treat us like family. I eat here at least once a week.

I used to love P M back in 2015! The lemon chicken sandwich was my favorite item on the menu, but I've tried to order it multiple times recently and they never have it available. The regular chicken cutlet is decent, but the pieces are very thin and sometimes it feels like there's more breading than chicken. Yikes. I used to go to the New Haven location often and it was pretty good. What I had today was not close to the quality I would get there. Not sure if it's always been this way or if it's gone downhill. I paid $12 for a smidgen of roast beef on a roll so stale it cut the roof of my mouth. The roast beef tasted like stop and shop brand. Definitely won't be coming back to this location.

Not nearly what it used to be! Used to love coming here. Moved back to the area and this was the first place I wanted to go. Go in and get me and my girlfriend a sandwich. We go home and start to eat and I literally had to go to the bathroom within 5 mins. The meatballs tasted like someone dumped a salt shaker on them. My gfs wrap was nothing like she expected. Usually chicken Caesar is served cold with grilled chicken. Not hot with breaded chicken. Just a miss all around. Very friendly staff for sure but the food is not even close to what it once was.
