"We throughly enjoyed an early evening dinner during restaurant week at Park and Grove. We began with Carolina White Grits and Beef Tartar to start. The mushroom vinaigrette was a perfect foil for the creamy grits with a perfectly cooked poached egg atop, made this starter a winner. I confess I am a long time lover of Beef Tartar, if it’s on a menu, I order it. The crostini was crisp and spread with chicken liver mousse, a lovely surprise. The beef was moist and fresh, seasoned perfectly. The uni … – show"

The Huevos Ranchero was excellent, and they had a great selection of Bordeaux.

I went in at the time that the staff was finishing up their morning shift and preparing for the evening. They were very nice and I felt relaxed. The bartender was very knowledgeable and nice to talk to, Presley, I believe was his name.

We brought our party of 7 here for dinner and it was incredible. Everything from the drinks to the food to the service was a good experience. Everything we ate was so good and the drinks were delicious. The service was great, and the ambiance of the restaurant was also exactly what we wanted. It was lively, but not so loud that we had to yell to hear each other. The best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. I will definitely be back if I ever come back to Charleston!

Park Grove offers not just an excellent menu and cocktails, but also exceptional service. Sarah, the Hospitality Manager, went out of her way to make my best friend's baby sprinkle memorable, taking care of every detail with follow-up emails and even providing a specially printed menu for our group. Our server, Caroline, was attentive and incredibly kind. We truly had the best experience today. This wasn't my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last. Fantastic job, everyone! View menu

Park Grove: A Brunch Staple Overall: A modern restaurant with a full bar, outdoor seating, and overall quaint but upbeat vibes. This is definitely a spot if you want to have a fun afternoon after your morning activities. Food: My party had the BBQ Duck Hash and the Shakshuka. Both dishes were excellent with the Duck Hash being spicy with perfectly cooked sweet potatoes. The Shakshuka was a more savory dish with tasty chickpeas and a fried egg. Service: Friendly staff but a little slow. … – show

A nice little jewel of a restaurant in the Hampton park area. Plenty of parking in the old ballpark lot across the street. Nice outdoor and indoor spaces, a pleasant bar surrounded by tables of various sizes. The wait staff is very good and there is a very reasonable selection of wines snd cocktails. Beer offerings were a little short which is a shame considering Charlestons vibrant breweries scene. We ate off the restaurant week menu which was a very good value. Fish dish was pan fried and perf … – show

"I just have one word that describes my experience here. WOW It was an absolute experience coming here. We were in town for my birthday and decided to eat here for my bday dinner/last night in Charleston. The vibe and atmosphere were classy, fun, and calming. They have a main bar area where you can grab a drink while you wait for a table and can be quite lively later in the evening. The dining rooms are towards the back, a lot quieter and more intimate so has a flavor for whatever you are into. The service was absolutely perfect. Our server (I wish I would have gotten her name she served our party of two at 10pm on Saturday 8/17) was so insanely friendly and personable. She knew her stuff and then some when it came to presenting the menu, but also would come chat with us and give us tips and recs for Charleston as she knew we were from out of town. They also gave us a free cheesecake and glasses of champagne on the house for our celebration. Just overall made us feel incredibly special and welcomed (we don't normally eat at places like this lol). The food, omg.....I am not overstating or being hyperbolic.......this was hands down without a doubt the greatest steak I have ever had in my life. Nothing even comes close. I had the Dry Aged Ribeye, and it has completely ruined steak for me because nothing will ever be that good. My girlfriend got the Filet, and it was in the same ballpark. Just legendary. We also got a side of the lobster Mac Cheese and it was fluffy with a perfect crust on top. Amazing flavor and texture. If you ever have the opportunity to dine, do yourself a favor and go. This was one of the best dinner experiences I have ever had. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience to the wait staff, the chef, servers, everyone there played a part and gave me a memory I will hold onto forever. Thank you!!"
