"I ordered a cake for my sons birthday. On the website it clearly states 9” custom cake $34.99, I ordered a double chocolate tort but what I got was something completely different. I should have known something would be wrong when I came to pick it up and was charged more than what I was originally told. The owner obviously doesn’t care about his customers his response to me was, “price subject to change” that’s what is listed on the website….umm where? You take an order and then change your price….ok bought the cake as I didn’t want to be rude as it was prepared and waiting for me. The chocolate tort which should have had raspberries and cream on the inside was not at all what we got. Called the following day to inquire and once again was told by the rude owner that what I picked up was the cake I ordered. Basically in a nutshell he made me feel as though I’m crazy and obviously don’t know the prices and what I’m ordering. Oh side note…while waiting for my cake I was looking at the desserts on display and WOW were they old. His Macaroons were cracked and looked dry, a chocolate pastry must have been sitting out so long that the corner of it started to break off. If you want a good treat Pastries of Denmark is not where you want to go. Your money and business is not appreciated there at all"

Great breakfast spot with plenty of pastries, sandwiches and other breakfast items. My wife requested off menu item bagel with scramble eggs and veggies. It was done perfectly! I loves Danish country omelets. Plenty of parking and outside seatingavailable.

Tried Pastries of Denmark for the very first time and liked it. Had randomly stopped to pickup a birthday cake and it was awesome. They had two flavors available at the time and I opted for truffle which was chocolate flavored and everyone liked it.Tried couple of pastries too and those were good as well, infact sweet level was very balanced.

We recently celebrated our 41st anniversary with a delicious treat at this restaurant. The coffee was exceptional and my wife enjoyed an eclair while I had a piece of cheesecake, both of which were delectable. The owners were extremely friendly and dedicated, despite currently undergoing renovations. The atmosphere was still cozy and clean. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We needed a cake at the last minute and drove around to several bakeries and cake shops'. No one had a single cake. Incredibly bizarre considering their names. This was the first time I have been into pastries of Denmark. They blew me away. The options were endless. Everything was stunning on display. This is my first time leaving a review, and I don't want to negatively impact this business. I tried their espresso and cappuccino, which were both decent but not up to the standards I'm used to as an Eastern European who loves good coffee. The baked goods I sampled resembled Danish pastries but tasted more like American counterparts. The tiramisu was dry, the cannoli tasted like simple cream from a spray can, but the carrot cake was at least very good. I appreciate their efforts, but I can't give them a high rating as they are not on par with nearby French bakeries. I wouldn't recommend this place to those looking for European-style coffee and pastries. Perhaps they have good salads or soup...
