"My rating is solely based on the value for money, and does not reflect the taste of the food—though it might be slightly influenced by the preparation. This restaurant offers the worst value for your dollar! You pay for Chaat Papdi but receive only half of what you'd get at other places, and the papdi chips are incredibly hard to chew. They really need to use authentic papdi chips, especially for a place that calls itself "Punjabi Dhaba"! The same goes for the Tikka Sauce and the Masala Chai. As for the kulfi, the picture looked great, but what I got was just plain old ice cream!"

the fact that they add achar (pickle) with their cholesterol feature, and butter on roti makes it simply the best punjabi restaurant that I have been in the bay area. great love to detail and also tastes amazing! (comeing from a native punjabi)

The snacks are enjoyable, such as the samosa chole. However, the portion of curry in the entrées is quite limited. This time, we ordered the wiper tikka, which came with only five pieces for $12.50. As for the flavor, it was merely wipers in tikka sauce, without much distinction. View menu

The service here is friendly and professional. The portion sizes are generous, and the food is delicious. I usually order the chicken masala, and I always enjoy it. Just a heads up—while the indoor seating is limited, there is plenty of outdoor seating available. I highly recommend this spot for Indian cuisine in Berkeley!

Wow! We've had our fair share of disappointing Indian meals on DoorDash, but this place serves the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to request extra spice for the Aloo Gobi, and it was spot on. The Samosa Chaat was a delightful balance of spicy and sweet, while the Chicken Tikka Masala was exactly what I hoped for. The portions were smaller than I anticipated, but I'd take quality over quantity any day. I'll definitely be ordering from here again!
