"I also ordered a mimosa, which I saw was priced at $5 and thought was a great deal (especially after enjoying a Rubin Sunshine, which I highly recommend). But what I got was just a regular thin champagne flute. With my meal and two mimosas, our total came to $48 after tax, and after leaving a tip, I ended up spending over $50. We couldn't get out of the restaurant fast enough; we both felt like we were wasting time and money. This has to be one of the worst dining experiences I've had in North Carolina. The portion sizes were ridiculously small, especially for the high prices, which is rare around here. For comparison, I used to go to the Metro Diner and spend $50 there, but I always left happy. They serve an amazing waffle with half a perfectly fried chicken, and the waffle comes with delicious strawberry butter. At the Metro Diner, I also ordered two drinks (a Bloody Mary and a mimosa) along with two sides (biscuits and gravy), and it all came to around $50, but the food was so plentiful that we took some home. I have no affiliation with the Metro Diner—just sharing my experience. So, if you're thinking about brunch at Queen City Craft and Gourmet, I would suggest you avoid it."
